I have been stalking Real Self for years and finally I am able to write my official review. I originally booked a mommy makeover 3 years ago with a surgeon in NJ but due to unfortunate family circumstances of my parents being ill, I had to cancel the first time.

I found Dr. Schulman on Real Self and for the longest time thought that I would never be able to afford a surgeon in NYC. I saw his amazing work for years looking through all his reviews and his gallery, just dreaming and never really thinking about going to NYC to do my surgery. But my father once told me (before he passed away) to find the best doctor out there for my plastic surgery and that I did. I really believe in you get what you pay for and Dr. Schulman is worth every dime.

I had a mommy makeover on St. Patrick's day of 2015. This included silicone gummy breast implants (335 cc's), tummy tuck and liposuction. I had planned this for years and I could not believe this finally happened. I did not do a diary log as I really wanted to make sure that I was healing properly and everything would go smoothly before I documented anything.

The day of the surgery was a complete blur. I remember being in a fog right after the surgery talking to Dr. Schulman but not exactly sure what he said. I was a hot mess that day lol. The first week was extremely rough, I am not going to lie. I mean I had several procedures done. I had to sleep sitting up in a recliner and it was extremely painful. By weeks 2 and 3, I was way better. It was like night and day. For several more weeks my body was sore (more tired) easily after a full day of work or being out. I am two months out now and everything is healing nicely and my body is not tired like before, except for a bit of numbness on the tummy which is normal. I am waiting for my scars to lighten up as well.

I am SO extremely happy with Dr. Schulman and my new body! I am not going to lie. It gives me a lot more confidence and to be honest with you, I can see why people can get addicted to plastic surgery. It gives you real results (as long as done by a great surgeon). Dr. Schulman and his office staff are amazing. The girls that work there are very sweet and helpful. Dr. Schulman is top notch. I thought I had an infection at one point one night and he got back to me right away. Luckily it was not an infection. He also has great bedside manner which is key to me. The follow up appointments are second to none.

I would really go back to Dr. Schulman in a heartbeat. I have already recommended him to family and friends. My only regret is that I did not do this earlier.
