44y.o. Removing Silicone Gel Implants Since 2007 (1st implants saline in 2004) - Rutherford, NJ

That first breath you take realizing you no longer have (2) implants rising and falling...It is absolutely amazing. I couldn't be happier. Dr. Rhee is one of the very best doctors. I, like many augmentation patients, have been through many procedures and doctors; trying to find the right solution for my body image concerns. Not one doctor has come close to Dr. Rhee's honesty, clarity, professionalism and ability to listen. He spoke to me like an intelligent adult. He was beyond responsive to my concerns and questions. He was what every doctor should be.

Removing Silicone Gel Implants, getting fat transfer. Hoping for full natural looking breast. Hope to be a full B cup. I haven't had the procedure yet.It's coming up in a few months. I am just anxious to schedule it. The doctors office will be getting back with me this week with the cost. I will post an update as soon as I am scheduled.I went to see Dr. Ahn asking for a redo. I wanted low-profile smaller implants. I really like Dr. Ahn and her entire staff. She was is so detailed oriented. During the consult she spoke to me about my health, my goals for the surgery and my future romantic life. She said my current implant were done very nicely and with so much more time before needing a redo she would be hesitant to remove and replace the implant. She explained with each surgery the risk for problems with the implant increases. She is so honest. I explained to her I was experiencing a lot of joint aches and pain. She really pushed to have my insurance pay for an MRI but it wasn't approved. However my insurance did approve some of the costs associated with the removal. Insurance companies are so weird. With my current joint aches and desire to go smaller and look more natural Dr. Ahn suggested removal with a fat transfer. Dr. Ahn sketched my body in her notes, then marked my body showing the sites where she would remove fat. She took lots of notes, pictures and made lots of drawings of my body. She has such a great bedside manner and is so thorough. she put my mind at ease about having the procedure done. I think in the end I will be very happy, there will be some adjustment, yes I know but I can stop rounding out my posture to hide the implants, I can wear low cut dresses and feel comfortable, etc... I can just feel comfortable and not like I'm living a lie. I always had a underlying layer of guilt about my implants. I will feel much better about the fat transfer. Looking forward.
