My experience was good. My recovery was not painful. I was sore like I usually get when I have stopped going to the gym for a long period of time and then return. I had no down time. There were somethings I was not happy about but being a novice I did not know to ask.

For example I have no idea how much fat was removed and the doctor only requested to see me once, one week after the procedure. Also I did not know that he charges extra if your not happy with the procedure and feel a touch up is needed.

As for my results I don't have a six pack but I no longer have the tire around my waist caused by menopause and I can wear my clothes without a bludge in the front so I am glad I had the procedure. Doctor was friendly enough. But, after all I have read after the fact if I had to do it over again or decide to go for a touchup, I would go to a certified plastic surgeon.

I have a least 8 different incisions that I believe will be small permanent scars but this could be due to my skin color. Not sure if some many incisions were necessary. I had two large incisions from previous surgeries that he did a good job of smoothing out. I think he was too focused on removing the fat from these two incisions. This was a dermatogolgy surgery and laser center in Manhattan. The doctor did list himself as a MD. Hope this is helpful to anyone thinking of having the procedure.

One day past 7 weeks and the only time I see a big difference is if I wear the garment all day and night. If I go to work without wearing the garment when I get home I look the same way I did at 4 weeks. I will post again in another two weeks.

Great review?

Definitely can see results. Seven weeks is still early to see final results and ab swelling seems to be the area most people say swells the longest. If it's going up and down then it's definitely swelling and will eventually subside. If you're concerned your doctor should examine you with no extra charge.

Hi kew4you -- Thanks for posting your story. You look great!

Try to take care of the incisions as much as you can; they may not disappear completely, but they'll be lighter. Thankfully, keloids after lipo are pretty rare.

Hope you're doing well. :)
