“Full Tummy Tuck Dont Know if This Was Worth It or Not Yet???”

Okay so i decided to post my experience because while I was recovering the first couple days, I found it helpful and comforting to read other people's experiences. I had a full tummy tuck and breast implant replacement on 5/20/2010. OMG!!! after the surgery I felt terrible!! I threw up from the after effect of the sedation. throwing up was horrible i had to use my abdominal muscle and it was crazy soar. i felt like a burning sensation on my abdomen area when i threw up or even cough. i had alot of flem and constantly needed to cough, so u could imagine the pain i was in. i was on oxycodene for the first four days because i couldnt bear the pain.the first three days were the worst. the drainage tubes were a pain in the neck! i think after i got them remove on the fourth day , i felt alittle better. the drainage tube was like burning and aching inside at times.

The breast implants didn't really bother me much. just some muscle aches here and there. but i think it was because of the major pain on my belly area that was distracting me from the pain on my breast area. anyways on the fourth day my doctor took out the drains. when he pulled it out i felt like a rug burn inside my belly along the bottom strip of my incision. It was aweful. but i beared the pain because i wanted the drains out so bad. Isaw my belly button. it still needs healing .

today is day 8. i feel alittle better but not able to stand up straight yet. when i shower i feel wierd, becasue i cant stand up straight. i will post pic later. the bulgy area on my lower ab is gone but now i have to deal with a scar from hipbone to hipbone. i dont know after the see that Im healing i will post before and after pic. hope this was helpful.
