Nasal Tip Rhinoplasty

Helo, 7 months ago I had a nasal tip rhinoplasty performed, unfortunately I am very unhappy with the result.
During initial consultation with my plastic surgeon I revealed my biggest issue to narrow the nasal tip which was rather wide and flat, I did not wish my nose tip to be elevated (this much, since I understand some elevation must be performed when narrowing the tip)and especially not shortened, unfortunately I am left with an over-rotated short nose.
I would like to know what could be a reason for this massive reduction, which part of cartilage that was most probably removed that can lead to such devastating effect? Were some muscles cut during the procedure as the overprojected tip is very apparent especially as it does not go down when I smile but just stays in one place. Is it possible to lower the nasal tip and minimize the over-rotation, are grafts in those kinds of cases mostly used, as my nose is a lot shorter now, nostrils and upper lip much visible, and the infra tip lobule too high and promienent. How long should I wait until the revision can be performed as I am very dissatisfied with the outcome of the surgery, my nose is still sometimes swollen especially in the morning and wide and bulbous at the tip which seems that was rather shortened than narrowed. Thank You very much of any information regarding revision rhinoplasty and possibly fixing the damage that was done!!
