I've wanted this surgery for about 15 yrs! Lost over 100 lbs after GBS in '96. Finally, after many ups & downs, I am going to have my arm lift & tummy tuck on 2/20/13. I am very anxious and a bit nervous about the recovery period. But, I've thought long and hard about this and I know it is what I really want.

**POD 8** Had my surgery on 2/20. I can honestly say that it was far less painful than I imagined. In fact, there was very little pain. Really more discomfort. My arms are wrapped in ace bandages. My incisions go from just above my elbows up to my armpits, and down to just alongside my breasts. I will post pics soon.

**POD 24** Pics posted. Feeling a lot of tightness this week. My arms feel hot to the touch. I'm not thrilled yet. Scars are not flat. I hope with time they will look better.

**POD 57** Pics posted. Not feeling physical discomfort. Still a feeling of tightness and scar feels hard and slightly raised. However, I'm pleased that the color has faded from red to almost white. I'm massaging, often with Eucerin, as much as I can in hopes of helping with the appearance of the scar.

After consulting with 5 different ps, I decided on this ps because he seemed to really see me as an individual. Also, the person who referred him to me is in the health profession. She had a TT with him. I figure she is "in the know" about what ps is the best for these type of procedures. She was very happy with her results and the care she got from him and his staff.

Hi - Hope you are doing well! Your after picks look great - I hope mine end up looking like that : ) Are the scars getting any better? Have you tried any of the scar therapies?

mine look much more red and I have the raised keloid looking appearance to them still, I'm wearing Scaraway pads daily and using Vit E oil when the pads are off. I was told they might never look like normal again but i see old scars i ahve from surgeries years ago and they are a thin line...so only time will tell. I had my surgery on Dec 21st so i've had more time to head but it just takes time.
