“I like the new "wet" microderm”

Microdermabrasion: Worth it

Cost: $150
Pain: Painfree
Microdermabrasion satisfaction: Very good4 Star Rating: Very good

I have had micordermabrasion monthly for the past 5-6 years and absolutely love it! But I recently tried the new "Silk Peel" which is the same as wet microdermabrasion at the dermatologist's office. This is where they infuse either salisylic acid, lightening cream, or hydrating cream into the skin simultaneously while performing the microderm. The procedure only lasts a half hour and there is no relaxing massage to accompany it but I felt very refreshed afterwards. And the skin is not red after but more polished and hydrated. I now switch between the traditional micro and the wet kind.
