I always had an extremely sensitive nose, my sinuses were a daily issue and would make my nose very puffy. I had always been self conscious about the hump on my bridge, but with the sinuses and my puffy nose on top of that, I was really becoming fed up about the way my nose looked. When I came to Dr. Elam's office I was extremely nervous, my mom accompanied me and she was also extremely nervous. However Dr. Elam came in and quickly picked up on what I disliked and what I wanted. He gave me a rough sketch on the computer of what he could change about my nose. It was a rushed appointment so I left his office still feeling a little unsure if I wanted to go through with the surgery.
A day or two later, I got a call from his office where I was kindly offered a second appointment, as they too realized my first consultation was rushed. I decided I should go and I am so happy I did. I came in thinking I didn't like my face and thought the root of the issue was my nose. In this second appointment though, Dr. Elam suggested the idea of removing some fat from my cheeks and under eye to help define the shape of my face overall. At this point I had already done my research and read all the wonderful reviews he has online, so I blindly trusted him and said yes to everything he recommended.
I cannot express how happy I am with the results and the entire experience. Jody and Lupe were both so kind in orientating me on the process of the surgery and what I should do to prepare myself. Obviously I was scared that it might be too much change, but Dr. Elam constantly reassured me that all the changes would be subtle and I would just look like a better version of myself.
Recovery was easy, it was a little scary to see my face with bruises but completely painless.(I will add photos) I tried to stay in as much as possible until they removed my cast, but afterward I was completely fine. I just covered up the left over bruises with makeup (I even went on a first date a couple days after the cast was removed lol). Kari, the assistant nurse, was also super kind, she oriented me on most of the after care and the face exercises they have you do during recovery.
About 5 weeks after the surgery I came in for the final touch. I had a little bit of filler added to the apples of my cheeks. Also, super quick and easy process there was basically no after care. Zero bruising, the product smoothed out on my drive home (2hr drive, I live an hour away but traffic was insane). Extremely happy with those results as well.
When I first came into Dr. Elam's office, I had pictured my face with a better nose, but the results are by far better than what I pictured. MY main concern was that I thought the change might be too drastic but I can honestly say, nobody has guessed or even hinted that I had any surgery done. So far all of my family and friends have commented on how great I look and that I look thinner, but unless I told them about my surgery, they have no idea. So happy I found Dr. Elam, he has such a great reputation for a reason and I have to give credit to his staff because they are all so kind and attentive.
After seeing my great results, my mom, sister, and a couple friends are now tempted to go to Dr. Elam as well!! DEFINITELY recommend him to anyone who anyone who is thinking about having cosmetic surgery!

Dr. Elam was extremely kind and honest through out the entire process. He is a very busy man, but he makes sure that you get all the time, care and reassurance that you need. This was my first surgery ever and my experience could not have been better. My results are so natural, I am so glad I trusted him and said yes to all his suggestions, I would recommend him to anyone and if I ever choose to have any cosmetic improvements again, without a doubt I would come back to Dr. Elam.
