I had never had weight problems until I got really sick and was in the hospital for a year. I gained a lot of weight and since have not been able to lose it. I was never huge (155lb) but I just had unwanted fat in my stomach that I wanted to get rid of. I got the procedure, was very nervous about being awake while they made the incisions and everything but it all went very smooth.

Not really much pain, just weird prodding and sensations in my stomach. I had some bruising but it wasn't awful. It is now a month later, the bruising is gone, I'm still wearing my garment as often as possible at least 12 hours a day. My biggest worry is that I don't look different whatsoever. My stomach is still tender but I lok exactly the same as I did before the surgery...
