What a journey this is!!! What keeps me upbeat is I know six months down the road the final result will be absolutely worth it. At least my double chins(plural)are gone!! One week ago today I had my smart lipo. The swelling and soreness comes and goes. It's usually worse in the middle of the night but then goes down. The saggy spot or rather strip of skin underneath my chin is more noticeable and hard now. I'm not happy about that BUT I pulled the big guns out this morning;-) Rather than doing my own massage(which is not working) I used my big monster HoMedics Percussion Massager with heat. It's supposed to be used for the body but on the lightest setting it works great on my neck. I did my whole neck and placed it directly on the strip of skin under my neck hoping to beat it out!!!:-) I figure I will sandblast it smooth!! Also, I'm going to wear the chin strap 12 hours during the day and my lighter compression garment at night for a month or more. May seem extreme but I want to mold this thing right:-))) I can't wear the chin strap at night because it hurts too bad and keeps me awake. Sooooo I'm doing things opposite;-) Will update you in a few days and let you know if it works. Fingers crossed....
