52 Year Old - Nashville, TN

I recently underwent a revision breast augmentation by Dr. Mary Gingrass in Nashville. I had my first breast augmentation when I was 29, with Dow silicone implants. I knew that I had developed capsules in the recent years because my breasts became very firm and missed shaped (probably at least the last 10 years). I knew they needed to be replaced but was dreading it because I actually work in surgery and did not want everyone to know. So I started researching physicians. In my 20's my job was at a hospital with a plastic residency. That's when I met Dr Gingrass and her partner Dr. Mindy Haws. They are in practice together in Nashville. I actually live about 5 hours from Nashville but decided to have a preop visit with
Dr. Gingrass. (Both of them are great and I would be happy with either one of them!)
Dr Gingrass is awesome. We discussed in depth my needs, most likely a capsulectomy, and that I would like to remain about the same size. Dr. Gingrass usually does her implants under the muscle but because my previous surgery was sub q we decided to stay that way. We discussed different styles and types of implants and went with Sientra. The office staff were all super working with me and making the distance a non issue. I called a few times with logistic questions and Carlene (the surgery coordinator) was awesome taking care everything. The day of surgery went so smoothly. I was in at 7:00 and started around 8:00 and out by noon. (Also had a little lipo, belly, hips, and knees! Price includes all procedures)
We'll I am now about 3 months post-op. My breast are perfect. (The lipo looks great too!) I am so happy. I'm sure she did not have an easy job. Both of my implants were ruptured and I had full capsules. I wish I would have done this years ago. I definitely will go back to Dr Gingrass if I need anything else.
