Hi, I'm MzAdrienna and I'm here to contribute to...

Hi,
I'm MzAdrienna and I'm here to contribute to the wealth of knowledge, experience and personal insight here on Realself. I just had Neck, Chin, and Jowl (Submental) SmartLipo done on Jan 10th, 13 and I will tell you the results are slow to come for me..The only painful part was the injections of the numbing fluids-this was offset by the Xantax which acted like Valium. The procedure is painless and there was only soreness after wards in the area. I probably couldv'e done without the Vicodans altogether. Anyways some say they see results right away, I'm guessing that's for those with the gobble gobble under the neck. In my case there was alot of excess fat caked up under my neck and chin. This really made my side profile unappealing. I've lost weight a number of times and it's doesn't budge-it's genetic. I usually just wear my hair down to cover it. But I got tired of that...so I took the plunge. Now I'm like in waiting. They say 2 weeks for the swelling to go down. This is my 6th day and I thought I'd atleast get an inkling of difference but there's none because all the places where fat used to be are now so swollen it all looks the same. So the jury is still out on my final opinion. But for anyone wondering.....painless, quick, and for me-no bruising-just swelling.

Guys...Arnica Montana gels and pills are awesome!...

Guys...Arnica Montana gels and pills are awesome! Betwenn them extra padding in certain areas under my compression garment, and moist heated compressing I am progressing so that now my jawline and neck has taken shape, the numbness is finally fading out and I can start my messaging. I'm getting the hard lumpiest under my chin and that's a part of the healing process-no worries I just message couple times a day. This is amazing I feel bad for doubting that my results wouldn't be great. The doc really did his thing! Smart Lipped rules.:)

Hi Everyone!
It's day 11 I'm posting some pics from day 9 and a video from today (11). Results and healing stages are happening much faster now. I have the hard lumps under my chin and beginning along my jawline that I'm massaging and applying moist heated compresses to, but I've read if they are too stubborn I may have to get a steroid shot at the doctors office to encourage the scar tissue to subside. Write me and let me know what you think, and how you're doing. The massages kinda hurt but since I'm doing them myself I can adjust the pressure.

Hi Fellow Realself Buddies,
I have an update for you! My PS's wonderful staff sent me a before and after which was at 2 weeks and looks really good. But understand that yesturday made 6 weeks and it's been a journey all this time of waking up looking swollen and as if my procedure had not been successful. Days around my menstrual where it was swollen and looked as if I almost had had no surgery at all. But at 6 weeks, I feel that my results are finally stable and looking great! I even feel comfortable letting my side view show with different hairstyles now. Here I will post new pics up for you now. I'm getting rhinoplasty in May-super excited about that!!
Great review?

I chose MyShapeLipo because they seem to make an effort in making their services affordable and they have a warm atmosphere amongst the staff and the Provider. I had to travel to Vegas-but there was no downside to that since Vegas is a cool place and I was able to get back on the plane the same evening. They get great reviews by me other than the last thing-the outcome. I didn't bruise, everyone was nice, no one was rude or rushing me, and all questions were answered. Afterwards...they welcome you to any questions or concerns. Cool place!

Hello, I'm currently researching this procedure. I'm going for my first consultation on Monday. I was looking into regular lipo because smartlipo scares me. I’m afraid of getting burned. I have dark skin and scars on me are dark and show easily. What made you choose smartlipo? Also, I wanted to see the videos for your procedure but they are private :(

Actually the SmartLipo that I had wasn't laser assisted lipo. And it sounds like you'd be nest choosing SmartLipo because its quicker, little to no bruising! You heal faster and it SmartLipo causes your skin to tighten to your new shape. Its awesome. I'm sorry my videos are private for right now but I'm putting up pics in a few days. But I don't know if ur getting some techniques mixed up and docs do things different but I had no laser with heat in my procedure you may have to find the places like that...
