Terrifyingly EXCITED! - Myrtle Beach, SC

I'm 46 yrs old. Had my first angel baby @ 18 and she was delivered by c-section. Second baby came almost 2 yrs later, another girl followed by a baby boy in1996. Diet, exercise, spanx, nothing pulls the abdominal muscles back in place. Not to mention the older I get, the more pronounced my "apron" becomes......I cannot wait to be rid of it. I look pregnant after I eat anything. I'm ready to feel good about myself again.

False alarm from Dr office.....sigh

Had a call from Dr office today. I had a battery of tests done in preparation for the big event. One that I did not have done was an EKG. Turns out I didn't have to have one but apparently it's required enough that the nurse wanted to know why she didn't have results for one. Be sure and ask about this when you're doing pre op visits.

Doing chin lipo

I forgot to add in I'm having chin lipo too. I've been so anxious about the TT I had forgotten......

3rd day after

Well, I'm on day 3 post op. everything is an adventure.

Day 3

Managed to get out of bed by myself. Walked around house and back into bed I got. Surprisingly, I realized that I am in no pain at all......

Well that was short lived.....

Yep, in pain today. Managed a shower, did a few laps around the house and back to bed. Tried eating a burger and I swear, I instantly swelled up! My upper abs are hard as a rock. Gonna drink more water, take my MEDS and turn in........

A little collage.....

Day 6! I was quite adventurous yesterday and went out for dinner. Wasn't too bad at first but I was miserable by the time we got home. Getting in and out of SUV, sitting at a normal chair, amazing food that I just couldn't eat more than 6bites of. The rest of the evening, I felt bloated. Definitely will wait another week or more before I do that again......

Still sore :/

6 week mark

Well, 6 week mark is in the past. The recovery is long. I don't know why I thought it would be easier than this. Took a bike ride and lost my balance and down I went. Skinned my knee some and that was bout it. made a graceful dive into the grass. That was 2 days ago. Felt ok yesterday but today...HOLY DIVER!
Dr L Shayne Webb

I met with Dr Webb 3 times Prior to my surgery. He and his staff have been nothing but amazing. Any questions, any concerns, they've literally held my hand through the whole pre-op. kind and very professional. Both Dr Webb and the surgery center called to check on me once I got home. 6 days post op and I am very happy with my results.....
