The Dr raised the tip of my nose even though he said he was not going to do that, at the moment of surgery he changed his mind, and I dont like it.

My upper lip dropped covering my teeth completely, only my lower teeth show, it look very bad and weird, I hate it I did it because I had a bump that wanted to get rid of and ended up changing the expression of my face which I liked before.

My upper lip dropped after rhinoplasty, as I speak only my lower teeth show, I hate the results, the nose doesn´t look good either and the tip was raised too much. Can my upper lip return to its original position, can the tip of my nose be dropped where it was? I have been suffering for 20 years thinking that this is irreversible. thanks Maria

Hi. I did rhinoplasty 2 weeks ago. my upper lip is also has dropped but that is normal because it is still numb. Now at 2 weeks after surgery I can already smile better and my upper teeth are showing a bit now cos at first I could control my upper lip. But don't worry it will come back to normal very soon. that is the least thing that is worrying me right now cos my bridge is not symmetrical and I'm going crazy about this :( look at my review maybe you feel better http://www.realself.com/review/Nose-bridge-not-symmetrical-after-rhinoplasty

Hi, i had my nose job done 10 days ago and I'm freaking out. Not because of the way my nose looks (which isn't really what i wanted), but because of my smile. I look horrible when i laugh or smile, my upper teeth don't show at all, and i see no signs of improvement yet. Most of the Drs are saying it will return to normal within a few weeks but i would like to hear from someone who has been through this. I was just wondering how long has it been since your surgery and are you still having trouble with your upper lip or is it all better now??
