I had my first Blu-U treatment today 6-17-10 for treatment of acne I got a facial cleaning and towel massage before the treatment I sat for 16 minutes in front of the light and my provider stayed in the room with me the whole time. After the treatment was over, my provider applied a 30 SPF sunblock on my face for me and found me a sun block for particularly oily skin (which I have). It is now 5 hours after my treatment and I am not at all red nor do am I feeling or showing an other side effects of the treatment. The #1 precaution my provider told me to keep in mind is to stay out of the sun!!!! Which I plan to do for the next 3 days and always keep the sun block on my face. This treatment was done WITHOUT the Levulon application.

Angela, the esthetician, is amazing. She is so gentle and she wants her clients to be well informed before making any decisions. You must see the dermatologist before you can see Angela to make sure that you area good candidate for the treatments.
