3 weeks post op

So today is week 3. Not feeling pain, but do feel discomfort at night still mainly because I don't like having to sleep on my back. My incision is still sensitive to touch on both sides so I can't be comfortable sleeping on my sides either. Bummer. Overall the healing process has been okay. My belly button will take the longest to heal, it doesn't look any different since my last pics. My follow up appt is next Monday and I'll be asking the doctor about my right side of where I had lipo on my flanks, I also posted a pic, it's hard to explain but it feels and looks wavy and I'm hoping it's just the swelling. My compression garment is starting to feel too out-grown meaning i have stretched it too much so I'm shopping around trying to find an every day shapewear to use now. I have lost one pound since the surgery and havent been able to button up my jeans so I'm still wearing sweat pants. At least I'm already 3 weeks post op, I'm Looking forward to seeing more progress over the next several months :)

Day 10

Day 8....Learning to be patient

I've experienced a ton of swelling after I had the drains removed on day 4 especially my hips so I'm at the point where I can't stare at my results or id be too stressed out thinking that my hips look no different than before. I just have to remind myself that my true results will happen soon but I need to allow myself time to heal and just because I feel better doesn't mean I can run around the house cleaning lol... I'm learning to be patient and to just relax with my feet up!

Absolutely love Dr.Baxter, I couldn't have picked a better surgeon than him! He has been very nice and informative, he called me at home the first day of surgery to check up on me. You can tell that he cares for his patients. A++++++
