Non-invasiveness factored heavily in my decision to try Ulthera for aging skin (age 54). I STRONGLY recommend the use of pain medication. It was painful- we had to stop first attempt. Second time, w/ pain medication was much better, but, not pain-free. PRO- pain is only upon direct contact. There is soreness upon touch for about 2 weeks, but,no bruising, etc. At this time, I see a subtle difference in the smile lines and jawline. I do expect to see more improvement in the next couple of months and then will consider the treatment a success.
