So happy with my results

I am so preased with the results and continued...

I am so preased with the results and continued support from my surgeons, Dr Vijayasekaran and Dr Corrigan.
After having a gastric sleeve in 2013 with Dr Harsha Chandaratna, losing 43kg I had maintained my healthy weight. I also had a hysterectomy in 2014 which had resulted in 3 surgeries and ultimately a vertical cut under my belly-button to my pubic area. Although the scar didnt bother me my excess skin puckered in to the scar, (i knick named it my front bum) and hated it.
So at the end of 2014, I began to investigate plastic surgery.
The issues for me were
My lack of volume in my breasts through weight loss had left me with an under whelming size 14 sml B. Not that they had ever been nice full breasts (except when i was breast feeding) and being 5'9 they were not in proportion with my body size.
My next issue was my thighs, these were saggy and probably annoyed me more than anything as I found it the one place I couldnt hide in bathing suits.
Then there was my ugly tummy from the weight loss and vertical scar.
My added extra was my neck which from weight loss looked old to me. (I didnt end up getting this done.)
I looked into Thailand, and Malaysia through various holiday surgery companies. I found a surgeon I was happy with but was told the total price including accomodation and flights was likely to be about $23,000 AUD, I would need to stay 3 weeks in a hotel. This seemed an awful lot when, i had been told it was cheaper outside of Australia. I also didnt think the price justified the slim pay the people within the contry were paid.
I then set up 2 consults with local doctors.
The first surgeon was happy to do my surgery, although i felt his procedures had less involved. Such as he thought Id get away with implants with no lift, and my thigh lift could be done simply by pulling up the skin at the groin. Although this would have improved my look i didnt feel it was a long term improvement.
I then booked to see Dr Vijayasekaran I immediately felt comfortable with him. He explained that with multi surgeries, such as I wanted he worked with another plastic surgeon making the time less on the operating table and reducing risks. My surgeries would take 5 hours.
We went through my implant choices and although he felt I could possibly get away without doing a lift the overall look would be better with a mini lift. This was done my moving the nipple up rather than the T cut. Also he felt to get a nice tight thigh the only way was to do a medial thigh lift so cut along the inside of my legs above the knee and the groin to remove and tighten all the way up. With my tummy I really wanted the scar to be low and symetrical on either side. I had seen photos of other surgeons work where they had cut higher than i wanted and where the scar looked uneven.
So after seeing Vijay and his lovely staff we worked out the price and booked inthe surgery.
I visited again and met the other surgeon Dr Corrigan. Dr Vijay went through my requests again and the size I wanted 500cc. I felt very confident in my choice.
As the week progressed to the surgery my bloods were checked as I have factor ii, we also picked up I had factor viii. Dr Vijay kept in contact ensuring me they had it all under control.
My surgery, went smooth no problems, i was in hospital for 5 days and saw my doctors every day. My only complication is numbness in my foot, however I have discussed this with both surgeons now and have been advised this will return.
I am now 3 weeks out and love my results, obviously my breasts still need to drop, but so very pleased with the fine incisions my surgeons have done and the flatness of my tummy. No more front bum. :-)
