Not Worth It
Spent: $700 in Rockwall, TX

I had my eyeliner done in 2005 and it was wonderful.  It looks great and I actually never wear anything but mascara and people constantly comment on how good my eyes look.

On the other hand, I had lipliner and full color done on my lips and after 3 complete sessions, there is NO sign of color.  I went to a different makeup artist that was much cheaper than the lady that did my eyes.  I guess that was the first mistake.  Even with a dental block  the first time, I never got numb.  It was HORRIBLE!!! The two weeks after the procedure are even worse because you get fever blisters, split lips and your lips feel like sandpaper because they are so dry.

This last time (which is the LAST time) the artist messed up my liner and now it looks like I have wrinkles around my mouth for some reason.   I may go to the lady that did my eyes and have her just fix the liner but no more.  I'm done with all that!

My Doctor: Name not provided

The lady that did my lips talked on the phone the whole time she was doing the procedure. She could not tell me after 3 times why my lips weren't taking the color

I had my eye brows, eyelids and lips done. Eyebrows were the least painful. Having eye liner applied to my upper and lower eyelids hurt, but it was nothing compared to the terrific pain I suffered when having permanent lip color applied to my lips. It didn't take the first time and so I had to go back so she could try again. Lip color disappeared after a few months. Eyebrows and eyeliner color still remain after seven years. I paid $4,000 in Indianapolis. I had blue eyeliner run to the outside corners of my eyes which looks a little weird and I try to hide it with a concealer.

The lips are hard to do. Make sure you go to someone who has been doing them for a long time.
There is a fine line in going to
Deep or NOT Deep enough. Either way will produce NO Color.

I have been doing this for 28 years and it takes practice and years.
IT does not have to be painful. The techs did not use the expensive numbing creams. I have never had anyone say it was TO painful to come back for a touch up. Yes, your lips will be dry for about a month. VASELINE.
As for the break out the tech did not ask you if you EVER HAD A BREAKOUT IN YOUR LIFE. If so you should have gone on a anti-viral.
I ask every client that is considering Lips.
