“Mini Tummy Tuck/Liposuction”
I am in my mid 30's, with 2 pregnancies in my early 20's. I'm average height and am thin but couldn't seem to get my stomach toned.
My midsection started to sag and I felt fat and unattractive. I was working out, trying to eat the right foods but I felt that my midsection was starting to sag and get larger instead of smaller.
At my consultation I was told that after my birth, my upper abdomen had expanded and needed to be tighted. My lower abdomen had a pouch and the skin was very saggy. I had gained alot of weight during my pregnancies; which had cuased this. I was relieved that the dr. said that no amount of exercise would fix these problems.
I decided to have the mini-tummy tuck to fix the upper stomach and had some lipo done on the lower abdomen area. My procedure was done a little over a year ago but my doctor has since retired. I am left with my upper abdomen looking tight and nice. I've lost several inches off my waist and am down to a size 4. I was at a size 8 before the procedure.
However, my lower area above the incision I have one side that is not firm and flat but has a slight pouch that hangs slightly over my incision. I am concerned and not happy with this. I'm not sure if it takes longer then a year to see the true results or if I need to have something else done. I am exercising 4 times a week. I use cardio and weight. Please let me know if anyone has experienced this and what I would need to do.
