Worth It
Spent: $2,700 in Virginia

I had a mini tummy tuck in 04. And I do workout quite often. Taking off 2-3 weeks a yr.
It is now 09. My stomach skin has upper loose skin..... And I am IN NEED of a new belly button. I LOVE my lower tummy. I wouldnt change a thing

GET THE MINI ONLY IF YOU HAVE NO UPPER SKIN THAT DOES NOT NEED DONE.
My damn doc told me I could work off the upper skin.  I am freakin 95 lbs.....And I was thin than too. I am only 5'0 barely. And I did have twins And my son before that . So.... 3 Kids. So I did have alot of skin...... I now have a outtie belly button. And a Hernia ( A small one).  My belly button always freakin hurts though.....

But I love the mini tuck..... Thumbs UP.... MY TUMMY IS FLAT!!!! But u CAN NOT, I repeat . Eat like a pig..... And U have to workout at least 30 mins a day . Every other day.. Walking is best . And lift some weights. And U do need to eat healthy. I eat NO junk food. And I ONLY eat out 1 ngt every 2 weeks..... Thats my cheat meal. NO FAST FOOD AT ALL.....EVER. And you will keep your mini tuck.... Long term .... People RAVE over my small tummy

Hi Kindlespirit40, I had a mini tuck too and I'm 108 and 5'2". I have to admit that my belly under the belly button is nice but the awkwardness of the upper half is just wrong especially when I'm bloated, gassy, or just full from a meal. I started with a "donut" around my belly button from having babies, after the mini tuck, it looks like the bottom half of the donut is gone but the other half hasn't budged. I wished my doc had enough experience to tell me that this would be the end result. I've seen 4 other docs since and they've all agreed that I need a full tuck to truly correct it and that I should have never been offered a mini tuck and the result is a reason they don't perform this surgery themselves.

I was so relieved to find someone else who shared my experience. I'm 63, also 5'2" and 115, and decided to have a tummy tuck. I was also offered a mini with liposuction, not knowing that it wouldn't get rid of the skin above the navel. I'm totally disappointed and angry. My lower abdomen was never the problem. Didn't even need the muscles tightened. I've got a nice smooth abdomen and ugly flaps of loose skin hanging over my navel.

What is an ENDOSCOPIC tummy tuck.......any one know??? Lipo alternative. A lipo procedure is to remove FAT. I find it difficult to believe LIPO for the tummy area would do the trick...you still have the excess SKIN after. Comments welcome!
