Almost 10 days post op!
Hey there! Slowly getting back to normal. 1st week home was good then had a family emergency and tried to offer help but realized I can't help anyone until I am fully recovered. I can finally sleep in my bed with no pain. I am having difficulty meeting the daily 60 grams of protein and 64 oz water. Still a work in progress. Trust me, I am working hard at it. Reading your progress helps me through the day. Talk soon

Excited Scared Anxious but Ready!
3 nights left before I am sleeved!
Wow,I can not believe the time is here. The nurse called and said all my labs are great! This has been an interesting journey and won't lie got a little scared again but I have to keep faith! Funny thing happened at work. This new lady started at my job and she was talking on the phone and I heard her say something about bariatric surgery. I politely approached her and asked if we could talk. Note this lady is not in my department and she is only sitting by me temporarily. Anyway, I started the conversation that I believe things happen for a reason and told her I was going in for surgery to be sleeved. I explained in overheard her talking and she said no problem I was sleeved 7 years ago. I don't usually talk about it but her mom called asking her a question. She said it was obviously meant for us to meet because she will be my work buddy. How sweet right? She offered to help me during the tough times. She is an angel sent in person, I was overjoyed.
Anyway, I am officially off work until November 9th and if need be will work remotely afterwards. My job has been supportive and I am just happy. Getting my last workouts in this weekend then boom Monday will be here! Talk soon
