“3months 1 week post opt -Milwaukee, WI”
Spent: $6,500 in Milwaukee, WI
Its been three months since I had a breast reduction, and I'm am more than pleased with the results. I still don't like the size of my stomach so I'm more than ready for the next step in my transformation which is a tummy tuck in the next couple months. I'm 32 years old with two children 11 and 1 yrs old. I had a c-section 11years ago and a Vbac one year ago.I gained alot of weight with both pregnancies. I went from 140lbs to 197lbs. I lost most of the weight but I still have a pouch and stretch marks that I need to get rid of.

Today I went to my consultation today and it went very well. My PS said I'm the perfect candidate for a tummy tuck. I was happy to hear that. I'm 5feet 4inces 154lbs. I taught i needed to lose weight before my surgery but he said no.

I forget to mention that I'm definitely going to need muscle repair. He's going to get rid of most of my stretch mark which i will be very happy about.

I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I have my pre-opt appointment on Monday and I don't know what to do with myself. I need and want this surgery but I'm so nervous. Has anyone every felt like this before surgery?
Updated on 7 Feb 2012:
Yesterday I went for my pre-opt appointment and it went pretty good. I have to go to a hospital or my doctor to get my lab work done. They gave me my prescriptions for antibiotics, and two different type of pain meds. I know i will have to get something for constipation.

Due to circumstances I had to change my date to one week later. I waited so long for a tummy tuck or one week wont kill me.
Updated on 21 Feb 2012:
Tomorrow is my big day and I'm not even nervous. Just alittle excited. I'm so tired from doing alot of running around. I think am gonna go bed early.

Omg a tummy tuck is no walk in the part. It hurts alot when I get up or sit down. I have been sleeping in my bed with alot of pillows since I came home, because I find the bed to be more comfortable than the recliner. What hurts the most is the muscle repair. I was told that I had alot of extra skin and my muscles was very lose. Otherwise I'm doing OK. Sleeping alot.

Today I'm 3 days post opt and I'm not feeling too bad. I must say the pain was brutal the first day and getting up was the worst. I'm starting to feel like myself again. I even drove myself to my do my doctors appointment. I love my new belly
I'm going to post pictures tomorrow.

I'm 5 days post opt and my recovery is going pretty good. I'm barely feel any pain even though I reduce the amount of pain pills I'm taking. I got one of my drains taken out today. I'm very happy about that. I'm starting to feel like myself again.
Updated on 5 Mar 2012:
I had my one week appointment today, and I had my other drain removed. Yea me! I only take one pill a day for pain. I noticed that since I had the surgery I can't eat much, because I get full quick. Otherwise I'm doing very good. I just want to say that everyone tolerate pain differently, and we all heal at our own speed. Happy healing to all my tummy Tucker's.

Today I'm a week and a half and "swell hell" has gotten a hold of me. I'm not doing bad but I'm very swollen. I'm walking straight and I'm also able to take shower with no problems.

Today I'm two weeks post opt and I'm not doing too bad. I went to the doctor today to have my tape removed. My belly button started leaking fluid so they had to drain the excess fluid. My belly is still numb so I didn't feel it. My doctor also prescribed stronger antibiotics for me to take for the next ten days. I hope that helps.

Tomorrow I will be one month post opt. I still have a lot of swelling but I'm very happy I had my surgery. I still had some stretch mark but two days ago I notice that they don't look too bad. They're not as pronounce as when I first had the surgery. Today I got flowers from my doctors office which was very nice. When the swelling goes down some more I'll post more pictures.

Today I'm exactly 5 weeks post opt and I'm feeling pretty good. I went to my doctor today and he said I no longer have to wear my binder. I can start wearing a spanks. On my way from the doctor I stop at Macy's and bought something similar to a spanks. Its called Naomi & Nicole comfortable firm garment. It is very comfortable. It only cost $32 plus tax. I'm still very swollen but I hope it goes down soon, because I'm starting to get frustrated.

I'm six week post opt and the swelling finally starting to go down slowly. Even though my doctor told me I don't have to wear my binder I'm still wearing it for the swelling.

Even though I'm still swollen i decided to try on some clothes.

Today I'm 8 weeks post opt and I'm still swollen especially the area below my belly button. I'm trying not to but I'm starting to get frustrated with the swelling. My belly button is almost completely heal so I'm happy about that. To my fellow tummy tuckers is it normal to still have a lot of swelling below my belly button?
Updated on 25 Apr 2012:
Thanks everyone for the kind words. I was frustrated with the swelling about I feel better now. My belly button just healed completely. I was beginning to wonder if my love handles were just fat or swelling. I know that when I first had the surgery i didn't have any love handles, so it must be swelling. I wonder when can I start sleeping on my belly. I tried but its very uncomfortable. I recently started sleeping on my sides. Happy healing to my fellow tummy tuckers, and I hope the swelling will not get us frustrated.

Well I'm almost two and a half months post opt and I'm still swollen especially below my belly button. I'm starting to wonder when is the swelling gonna go away. I moved a few days ago and my belly really swelled up. Is it normal for a belly to still feel tight?
Updated on 15 May 2012:
Its almost 3 months since my surgery and finally the swelling is going down. I still have swelling but not as bad as before. I finally stop wearing my binder a week ago and started wearing girdle panties. The Girdle seems to be keep down the swelling.Hopefully I don't have to wear the girdle panties for too long. I'm thinking about getting a cover up tattoo on my scar, as anyone ever done this and how long do you have to after the surgery to get the tattoo?

Its been three months and a week since I had my surgery and I'm very glad I did it. The swelling is finally going down and I'm starting to see my results. I'm not sure if I should get my belly button revise. I'm back to my doctor in two weeks so I will ask him.

My PS and his staff was awesome. If though I was a little late this morning, they still spend time with me. I would referred or recommend my doctor to anyone who wants a tummy tuck, or breast reduction ect. The staff was very supportive and they held my hand until I fell asleep. Dr. Korkos and his staff are the best. My PS always give you a hug before surgery and he makes you feel comfortable.

Thanks for asking. You wouldn't believe I haven't had my surgery yet. The morning of my surgery my ride dropped me on my face at the last minute claiming that my family doesn't approve of my surgery. So I didn't go on Wednesday. I rescheduled for yesterday but when I got there the building had no power so they rescheduled me for this Monday I hope everything..
