“tummy tuck w/ lipo - Milpitas, CA...16 weeks post op”

Hi, after months of deciding to have tummy tuck I finally find a doctor and I will be scheduled for a full TT w/ MR and Lipo on Jan 23,2012.

The doctor is very nice and mostly answers all my questions. Well, a little background of myself, 4'11, 120 lbs age is 49 years old, had the hysterectomy 2 years agoUpdated on 1 Nov 2011:11/1/2011--Finally my boss okayed my vacation for my upcoming tummy tuck for 3 weeks, I called the nurse and finally set up that surgery on january 23 or on the 24th..I can't believe it, I'll go through with this. The nurse ordered me my physical check up and turn in the paperworks for that physical check up on Dec 19 and will give the $500 deposit...Yeheyy I'm gonna be doing this.Updated on 21 Dec 2011:My pre op was yesterday, i paid the downpayment and me and doctor and nurse talked a lot about my concerns, i turn in my lab work, my ekg, and i have a little problem i'm prediabetic and also i have a high blood pressure, currently i'm taking medications for high blood pressure and the doctor wants me to have the stress test for my heart, well i think the surgery will still go on, dr took gross pics of my tummy today.Updated on 21 Dec 2011:And by the way the doctor said i gonna have a drainless surgery..

Jan 9, 2012....Here are the ff that I bought:
1) Wedge Pillow and 2 more extra soft pillows
2) 4 XL Granny Panties(Lol)
3) Spanx and some other types of tummy compression garment
4) 2 extra large house dress for the recovery
5) Palmers Vitamin E
6) Cough Drops
7) Baby foods for me(for the before the surgery and after surgery)
8) Protein drinks in Costco
9) A walker (which I bought in Garage Sale)

About the hospital bed, I don't think I'll be able to get it cuz we have a small room and our house is so small we have room renters...

Ladies pls advice what else to buy and be ready for..

Hey Ladies, just pay my full payment yesterday, and I'm ready to have my surgery on January 20th, well doctor said not to eat any kind of meat 2 days before my surgery, prior to that no aspirin for two weeks, tylenol is okay. Started cleaning my room and buying some baby food for post and preop..

hello ladies, today is my surgery date, i update before I go to surgery time which is 7:30 am, i'm so anxious and excited i woke up so early...well yesterday my doctor make markings on my tummy for today surgery, he gave me an antiseptic soap to wash all over my body before surgery, well i post my before pics tummy w/ markings on it, the dr said its okay to wash cuz this markings wont go away w/ water

Surgery went well yesterday, able to stand up already and sit down in the comp. I have a tubeless drainage, no hassle. I don't have pain pump I only have vicodin and cepahlexin..Overall its not as bad as we thin....I will post pics later...:) so happy I did this for myself

Day 3...Today I will go to dr to check out the tummy cuz its still covered since friday and dr doesn't want me to do anything w/ it...no shower for me just sponge bath..i'm uploading pic

4 days post op---uploading some pics, i don't have anymore drains, omg this whole process is not as bas as i think, i poop the 3rd day and i'm not taking pain medications anymore, dr said i can take shower anytime but i don't want to yet probabaly just wash my hair, eating lots of pineapple,drinking water, ensure and some protein drink, no red meat for me,,

By the way, verryy special and warm thanks to my husband. because he support me all the way, he is my personal nurse, my husband, my friend and my lover, I could not do this make over w/o him, he's withe me through out the proces and through thick and thin....Thanks hunney

Hello,just an update, still have very little things that can do, still have swelling and back pain esp in the afternoon. Lost more weight if I'm not swelling, I will try to take my full shower today if I'm able to...

10 days post op update:: hello everyone, i took my first shower in day 9 (which I felt better) and my healing is progressing, I hope I can recover pretty soon since its too bored always in bed. I'm taking my time really really slow for everything even I don't drive yet. I hope I can drive tomorrow cuz its my 2nd follow up check up

12 days post op:: yes i went yesterday for my post op check up and doctor said everything went well, i'm still not driving though (lol)my husband still here to help me out. i try to walk around the neighborhood but only few steps my tummy suddenly feels like to explode, and i will try to keep on walking until i be able to, no more pain only swelling esp at the end of the day.

update: hello ladies, well update for 15 days p/o, i went to the gym doing 30 mins treadmill only, go grocery, cook but at the end of the day tummy swells, but I think this is part of healing..Everyhting looks good so far except for the swelling at the end of the day. so happy with the results

Hello Ladies...I am 17 days post op now, I'm feeling fine and fabulous, swelling mostly in the afternoon but otherwise everything went well, I don't have any problems so far I hope this will be the trend until my complete healing...Oh by the way I had sex for the first time ever after my surgery last night (lol)...Happy healing everyone..

21 days post op/ 3 weeks....Hi Ladies...well time flies sooo fast, 3 weeks ago I had my surgery, well nothing that much to say except that I'm healing well, still swell hell at night (which I think this is part of healing). I do Zumba dance already but just slow pace, walk in treadmill. No lifting of heavy stuff yet for me, basically life ia almost going back to normal, no issues of my wounds I taped it, my doctor said no need to put scar treatment, but maybe I will put some scar treatment later..Happy healing everyone :)

Hello my dear tt friends....well today is officially my one month or 28 days post op...Everything really really went well w/ my recovery. A lot of things happened this week, I went back to my 12 hour night shift..I thought it was a nightmare cuz swelling always happened at night and here I go working my 12 hour shift. Well it was a struggle on the first night of work, a lot of swelling and discomfort but I made it through that night. I only worked 2 nights this week. It was a great experience going back to work..(lol) Well everything went extremely well on me, swelling still there, I can handle it I think swelling will be a part of us TTers probably in the next 4 months, but it is way manageable..I don't have any problems so far, and if you guys will asked me if I would do this again...my answer is Yes, I would do this again..everything is well worthed..Happy healing everyone

Hello dear tt friend....I just want to update and post a picture of the ear plug which I used for my belly button to avoid closing..I notice my bb is almost closing at 4 weeks that's why I called PS and he gave me this advice to use silicone ear plugs instead of marble, I think the ear plug works good for a closing bb :)

5 weeks post op update...time flies ny sooo fast, here I am soo happy and contented w/my tt results..the ps is giving me clearance to do ab exercises and crunches on 6 weeks post op...this journey is very positive on me...my advice for all upcoming tt'ers...trust your instincts, be positive, and just take it easy for 4 to 5 days post op...and you'll be fine

6 weeks post op: YAYY...My PS gave me a go signal for abs exercises..everything went 100% fine w/ my tummy tuck..I lost 10 lbs after my surgery and I hope and wish I can keep up this weight cuz I'm very small woman :)

Hello TT friends...well I passed the 7th week post op w/ flying colors...Everything looks like back to normal now, I'm still putting on the silicone ear plug on my bb and I'm out of the CG and the binder already, I'm trying to do abs exercises already but its still kinda slow and a little stiff if I do the abs exercises, but I do it slowly...There are still swelling but not as bad anymore, maybe I'll deal w/ it until 4 to 6 months. My appetite went to normal now, but I try to eat less calories eat healthy foods and my weight is still 10lbs below my pre op weight....happy healing everyone :)

hello ladies, its bee a while I did not make update, but first of all Happy Mothers day to all my friends here in real self...For me, everything almost go back to normal except for occasional numbness of my belly, and I gain a couple of pounds :( (which is not good I think)
