Good Skin Pick Me Up

I have had microdermabrasion done over 20 time in the past six years. I have had seven treatment in a row over the past eight or so month, in Boston, at the Boston center for plastic surgury. There is a women there named Peggy who is wonderful!!!!!!!! I have mild acne scarring and spots. Micrdermabration is not going to permanetly get rid of anything, but maybe help with old pimple marks somewhat. It has not done anything for the scras but help take the color out of then somewhat. The treatments become more aggresive the more you do them but never to the point that you can not tolerate it. If you are a big baby, you can still deal with it. It's just like a scratching sensation. It will temp. soften the skin and possibly make it look a little smoother. But you must continue to do them just like facials. You can not just do the "six" treatments and thats thats. Dead skin will always come back. So you must have follow up. So if your skin feels and looks a little dull this is a wonderful skin pick me. Safer than a peel. It give you a nice glow. Ideal to do befor a facial because it takes off the dead skin. Or even if you want your skin to look great for an event do one a couple days befor. I am currently going to alternate the micro with a vita peel. Micro then vita peel two weeks later and so on. Ideally six of each. I had my first peel today. My skin is red on the cheekbones. i will go in for micro in two weeks. This will be more effective as far as mildly resufacing the skin, for superficial scars and wrinkles. We will see!!!
