Microdermabrasion was NOT worth it: Not worthwhile for mild skin issues

While the procedure did leave my skin soft, it didn't have any lasting effects. I admit that I am a little obsessive about home skin care and I don't have many skin issues other than occasional dryness and freckles from sun damage. I think that for someone with my type of skin, good homecare with an at home micro (even Mary Kay's - I don't sell it) or a simple baking soda scrub is just as useful. I did not find this procedure painful, but it tickled some and made me sneeze.
