This is my 6th day post of my vaser surgery. I think i see a little form and a little swelling has subsided on my abdomen. However my inner thighs are another animal. The same day after surgery I noticed my right thigh swelling more than the left. Overall its tighter, more swollen and a sense of pressure. Im good if I can walk around for 20-30 min...then they are both swollen like watermelons. The right leg in general doesn't feel or look like the left.
I am get so nervous that this swelling is not going anywhere. I had 9 days to be off work and I dont think i will be able to return. The nurse asst on call has instructed me to elevate my legs and take the garment off for 1 day until my sutures come out which is day 7. I took a shower and put it back on due to the discomfort. Should i be nervous? How long is the swelling in my thighs and lower back going to continue? Is there anything herbally i can take to help rid of the swelling? Thank you for your consideration.

Sorry to hear about the trouble you're having but it's nice to know your doctor's staff is on top of it.
Arnica supplements can help with swelling and bruising. Always consult your doc before you start anything like that, but a lot of RealSelfers have had success with it.
