I have been putting off my reduction for years but, my back and neck just can't take it any more. I am only 5 feet tall and carrying around these 36 DDD is no fun!! So, I did my home work, made a spreadsheet (YES, a spreadsheet) with about 75 questions, then found a doctor, had a meeting and we set a date! It was great to find a doctor that I feel so comfortable with. I picked this doctor for many reasons but, the fact that he was frank in his answers, really did it for me. An exapmle of his frankness came when I showed him a picture of a 20 year old girl and said "I wanna look just like this!" and he quickly told me...I was not 20 and therefore, I was not gonna have 20 year old boobs! He went on to tell me that he could stop the pain in my neck and back and that he could give me PRETTY and PERKY breast (God love him!!) He sealed the deal with NO STICHES!! Nope, my guy will be using glue, tape and internal stiches!! The stiches may or may not be an option for you but, you should put it on your list to talk about. Many of the ladies said that the removal is not fun and I am a big baby!!

I would HIGHLY recommend that you read Kimmers 13 Things I Wish I'd Known Before Breast Reduction...it is full of great information. Miss Kimmers...is a goddess and full of great info!!

Get your bras, ice packs, and get ready to have PRETTY and PERKY BOOBIES!!! I wish you luck and don't forget...read Kimmers blogs...they really helped me take the plung!!

Hi,
I had a reduction in Nov. 10. One thing I wish I thought of before getting it done: I wanted to be the same size as I once was happy with, 34c. That was pre-pregnancy with a totally flat stomach. Now, after four kids, I didn't realize how big boobs makes your stomach so much less noticeable. Your waist seems small compared to your breasts, until they're gone. So, I would have asked for a D-cup. They seem so small to me now, wish I would have left them a little bigger.

Approved! Awesome! First of all, make sure you've done your homework on your surgeon, that he's board certified and that you feel very confident in his work. Second, check out Kimmers' 13 Things I Wish I'd Known Before Breast Reduction. Hopefully this will help. And maybe some other ladies will stop by here and offer you support as well. No one should have to live with G cups. That sounds really painful.
