8 weeks PO

I am 8 weeks PO and things are healing nicely. I had to stop marble training my belly button again. After 2 days my BB was really red and inflamed. So I decided to clean it with some peroxide and a stitch literally exploded out of the inside of it. It was weird. So I have been using media homey on it for the last 4 days and it is healed up nicely. Fingers crossed, going to try marble therapy again tomorrow. I also had a tiny little spot on my incision open up when I removed the tape this morning. It started ozing a little puss. So I cleaned it and poked around looking for another pesky stich. And I couldn't find one. Maybe it was an ingrown hair? Regardless, dabbed on the media honey and a band aid. Hopefully that will get resolved in the next day or two.

My incision for the most part looks really great. Very neat and clean except for the area on my left hip. This is where I had a seroma that Dr Fisher drained like 60 cc's from. Now it looks like the scar tissue is pulling in on itself. It also hurts when I put on jeans or if I stretch the wrong way. I'll keep up with the massage but I think I will have to have a small revision on it if the pain doesn't go away. Other then that swelling is an beast. I'll be semi flat in the am and 4 months preggrs in the evening. Still wearing full body CG 24/7. So hopefully this will all resolve with a little more time. That's all that's going on for now.

Happy Healing all!

More Stitches... Really!

Nothing big to report at 7 weeks PO. I had another 3 spitting stitches. Since I knew what they were I just pulled them myself instead of making the 1.5 hour trip to Vanity. You know I thought these suckers would have dissolved by now. Since pulling the stitch from my belly button it has healed completely. I am going to start marble therapy tomorrow because it is looking like a weird alien kind of slit. I am finally back into my medium underwear.. Woot Woot! But my shorts still don't button. Weird since I had my belly bulge removed. I guess I am still dealing with swelling. The actual incision is looking good. It is completely thin and flat. I still have the hyper pigmentation that makes it look darker, but I am not to worried about that. Nothing that a bleaching cream wont take care of a little future down the line. I am still have a swollen belly all the time. It is never really flat :( But I am still holding out hope for that. As far as what I am doing... I am using biocornium on the incision and then taping over it with paper tape. I am also wearing my Vedette 705 CG 24/7. Hopefully this will help. I can see a waist starting to emerge, so that is a good thing :) Here is hoping for more good things to come!

Ill post pics every month just to document the (fingers crossed) progress.

Happy Healing All :)

Holy Spitting Stitches

I went into Vanity today to get some spitting stitches taken care of. I had 4 removed on the left side of my incision line. And I removed 1 myself from my BB because Juliette (Dr. Fishers assistant) couldn't fish that one out. 5 spitting stitches in a week...weird. Also weird that they are all on the side that I am still really swollen on. So I think this brings the total to like 9 stitch removals so far. Just when u think no more TT drama, the TT drags you back in...lol

Happy Healing!
