So Spectrum has been blowing up my phone ALL day today...yes literally ALL DAY to get me in there tomorrow even with low hemoglobin blood results. YES my hemo was low, they called me on Monday to notify me. Told me to go to the pharmacy immediately to get 2 different pills and take as directed then re-test STAT on Wednesday (yesterday). So Lab Corp lost my test results or don't have them yet but anyway, Spectrum is still telling me to come in tomorrow...REALLY! With no updated blood test results they just want to get my money and chop me up. I'm so disgusted with them right now. My boyfriend was already against the surgery but was going with me to take care of me and support me any way he could. Now he's like these people don't give a damn about your health. I didn't even tell him about the staph infections coming out of Spectrum's operating rooms. We're scheduled to leave for Miami at 7am when he gets home from work. Ladies everything and I mean EVERYTHING is telling me don't trust these people with my life. Red flags all over the place. I'm only $300 in and I can stand to lose that. I have 4 kids and a man that love and need me. I'm not willing to risk my life for cheap when I can find a better doctor and facility that will value my life as much as I do. I have 7 hours to decide...

I'm just ready! 2 weeks pre-op. This has been a rollercoaster of decisions and emotions. After 2 years of hard work, dedication, and a 100lb weight loss, it's finally my turn! I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I've been stalking and stalking this sight like so many others and all I can say is thank you ladies for the abundance of information. I'm not getting much support on the home front for this surgery so I'm pretty much on my own. Any encouragement is strongly welcomed!

From the time I met him I knew he was the Dr. for me. He answered all of my questions, he was very realistic with my wants and goals and provided me with great professional advice one would expect from their doctor. Spectrum Aesthetics has been good to me so far. Vivian is my coordinator. Not much communication responses from them if you text but the request is taken care of none the less.
