Smart Lipo: Stories

I am in a little more pain then what I expected. Everyone made it seem like you just walk away easy peezy. But it feels like I just went to a bootcamp! It's not unbearable, just uncomfortable. I had it done on my front and back thighs. I'm so excited that I finally did this! I lost 25 pounds and am so happy with what I achieved with hard work, but alas genetics is a tough battle, so I finally did something besides complain! Here's what I'm wondering now. How long did most of you actually wear your compression garment? I don't see how I can go to work wearing this thing. My doctor said I could get the commercial brands, which I probably will, but I was just curious as to anyone else's recovery time period. I really want to know how long it will be before swelling went down for others. Also did any of you try to alleviate the bruising and swelling through diet and/or taking bromelian and arnica? I was reading about how certain foods can affect the swelling.

So it's been almost 10 weeks since Dr. Blinski performed the SmartLipo procedure on my thighs and I am SO INCREDIBLY HAPPY! I seriously could not have asked for better results. I kept the bar pretty low because I didn't want to be disappointed, but honestly the outcome is just what I wanted and expected. My thighs are definitely all around thinner and this is something that I have been OBSESSING about for most of my adult life. I am a very active person and in pretty decent shape, but no amount of diet + exercise would make my thighs decrease in size. Now, I am finally 100% content with my body. :)

I did a lot of research prior to having this procedure and found that Dr. Blinski was not only qualified and experienced, but also very candid with what I could (and should not) expect and he definitely delivered on his prediction. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would most definitely recommend Dr. Blinski to anyone thinking of doing this procedure. Even if you're not a local in South Florida, you should travel here for SmartLipo, because something as important as this is totally worth it.
