Reconstruction, Not Letting Me Put the Past Date It Was Actually Done, on 12/19/14. Miami, FL

I never wanted to change my face or my eyes but unfortunately what was supposed to be a simple filler under my eyes to look a little less tired, changed my life forever. Another Dr. had put a filler under my eyes that bubbled up and turned my skin yellow. He talked me out of seeking help with an occuloplastic surgeon and convinced me he could fix it. Well after two tries he changed my eyes and only made things worse. I sought many consults with some of the best occuloplastic surgeons in the country. I decided to do it with Dr. Martin because I knew it wasn't going to be just a straight forward surgery and that we would have to do a couple of things. I ran into a patient in his waiting room during my initial consult that had sculptra, (I think it was sculptra), removed from under her eyes and hers was not a straightforward case and she told me he has gone above and beyond and if anything needed fixing along the way he never hesitated to fix it. That is what I needed. I'm still very much in the healing process and still bruised under my eyes as he had to remove filler from places we didn't think it was in. However I want to write my experience so far for anyone that needs help. He also had to lift my cheeks to help with under my eyes, which looks very natural. My eye shape is very pretty and almond, like I used to have. As I heal and as we go along I will update here.

I had surgery to remove a bad filler that ended up permanent. I had beautiful almond eyes that were destroyed. It's still black n blue but what I can see is the shape and he gave me back my almond eyes, I love the shape. He answers every email promptly and if there is anything that I notice might bother me as its clearing up he says we can fix it. He's super nice and I feel like he realizes how much money is put into these things and he truly seems to want it to be the best. I will post more as it heals.
