I am a 22 year old out of town patient, And I have been considering the Brazilian butt lift surgery since 2012. I have always been self conscious about my body. I'm sort of apple shaped with skinny legs & no butt (Spongebob Square Pants). I'm 5'2 & 146 lbs. I am interested in getting a BBL to even out my disproportionate body shape. I want more of an hourglass figure & to be less square/boxy... As well as small hips & a rounder/plumper butt.
I've researched doctors & have narrowed my picks down to two surgeons in Miami... Moises Salama and Mel T. Ortega. I like both surgeons work, but I'm leaning more towards Dr. Ortega because you can pick 12 areas of lipo and the price is more reasonable.
I've been talking with Karla (1 of the coordinators of Spectrum Aesthetics- Dr. Ortega's office) and I'm getting everything arranged so that I can put down my deposit & secure my surgery date (aiming for March-May in time for the summer).
I've read from other patients profiles that the deposit ($500) is "non-refundable". When Karla contacts me again, I will ask if this is true. I'm excited but also nervous (Am I doing the right thing?) because I've never had a major surgery procedure before. I trust the doctor based on his reviews & the positive feed back of his other patients, but I also have those doubts in the back of my head. It would be really great to talk one on one with someone who has had this procedure (especially patients by Ortega) & can give me insight so I can shake off this unsure feeling.
