Everything Happens for a Reason!

So everything started happening so fast when I got to Spectrum. They called my name and I went to the back and got weighed. I'm down to 232. The anesthesiologist started my IV. He was dreamy by the way! Lol! He looks into your eyes when he talks to you and smiles. Wouldn't be surprised if he was gay. It's always the fine ones! Anyway, Ruth took my pictures. Then the doctor came in. He marked me up and talked to me. He asked for my height and weight. He had Ruth to calculate my BMI. I was at 37.4 and he needs me to be 34 or under. Basically I have to come back in some months. Make sure your BMI is where it needs to be so you won't waste any money. I'm just mad that I paid the money for the recovery house. And I've been told that Karla is with the ish sometimes, so I highly doubt that I'll be refunded any money. I don't expect a full refund but at least half would be nice being that I won't need any assistance from the nurse. That's too much like right though. And as far as a refund from spectrum, that won't be happening either. I have to reschedule. I won't be rescheduling til at least 6 months from now cuz I'm trying to let my PTO time build up on my new job. I'm remains positive and making the best of the situation. Everything happens for a reason!

Hot Damn!! This Ish just Got Real!!

So while I was sitting in orientation for my job, I got a call from Spectrum today. I couldn't answer at the time but they left a voicemail. When I finally got a break, I listened to the voicemail. It was Vivian calling to see what my status was on my weight loss. I constantly called back during my lunch and never got an answer. By this time I was kinda nervous, but not really. I kept thinking that she was gonna tell me my BMI was too high. When I finally got out of orientation for the day, I called back again. This time she answered!! She told me that the medical assistant instructed her to call me to see what my weight was. I told her that I went from 255lbs down to 235lbs. I held my breath afterwards to hear what she had to say. She was so excited for me and congratulated me and asked me how I did it! I told her that I started doing protein shakes and started back doing my Shaun T Focus T25. She was very proud of me and said she will see me Monday for surgery! At this point, I'm smiling from ear to ear!! I can finally get completely excited now that I know I'm good to go!!! Ok! That's all for now! I won't post again til Sunday or Monday. I've already told yall that I don't wanna be that chick who is always posting but ain't talking bout [RS bleep]!! Lol! Goodnight doll faces!!

9 more days!!

So it's been a minute since I've updated. I don't wanna be that girl who keeps updating about every small thing and talking about nothing, getting yall's hopes up and having yall thinking I have pictures of my new ass! Bare with me this one time! I have lost more weight! Yayyyyy!!!! I wanted to post some updates pics so you can know where my status was before surgery. I've done my bloodwork already and everything was fine. My iron level was fine, but I've still been taking iron pills.

For the ladies who want to finance the rest of your procedure, try United Medical Credit. I only financed $1650 and paid the rest in cash. If you're not approved through Care Credit, this can be your next option.

I've purchased my supplies and pillow. I still have a few things to purchase. My only dilemma is that I'm starting a new job next week. They're being kind enough to allow me to still take my "vacation" to Miami as it was already planned, BUT I have to report to work the very next day after my return. I pray that I can pull myself together and not show that I'm in pain. This is gonna be tough to pull off but I gotta do what I gotta do. It's three of us going instead of two now. We had to change to the recovery house that Karla is tied to, so we will all be able to stay together. That's all I can think of right now! Here are my weight loss pics. Don't know if you'll be able to tell the difference.
