Before Pictures

These are some before pics of what I look like now. 5'7 184lbs. Eating healthy and exercising more...so I can lose more weight prior to procedure. Goal 165lbs. I know IRON & B-12 supplements, and I've heard also FOLIC ACID pills are good to take for a while prior to surgery... do you guys know any other supplements/vitamins you should take to strengthen your body before surgery? If so please let me know! :D Another question, what's the difference between a lipo foam and a lipo board?

Hey guys... its official. I've finally made a decision to get cosmetic surgery for the 1st time ever. I'm definitely nervous because I don't respond well at all to pain. Even just waxing my eyebrows still makes me feel some type of way lol. So I know the recovery will definitely be an uphill battle, but a smooth and successful recovery is all that matters to me at this point.

- I chose Dr. Osak Omulepu. I live in Houston TX and the only doctor here who does great BBLs is Dr. Cortes...however he charges $10,500 and that wasn't at all in my budget because I was declined for financing, even when I applied with a cosigner who had great credit. So then I decided well maybe I should just get lipo alone and that'll give me the curves I'm looking for. All Houston doctors charge at least $5500 just for lipo, so Dr. Omulepu charging $3900 for a full BBL definitely had an impact on my decision, seeing as how I wanted to get this done within the next 3 months (the flight, materials needed, and recovery home will put the price back up to about $5000 though). Also I checked out all his reviews. One thing I like is how 98% his patients leave with a super flat stomach, which is definitely a MANDATORY outcome that I need lol. I'm definitely not going through all this to still have a gut afterwards. I also have been to Miami before so I know the area. Another thing that impressed me is that VANITY has a FULL refund policy, if I ever change my mind about doing the surgery, I can cancel and get 100% of my money back, and if I needed to push back my date for any reason, there are no ridiculous administrative fees that come with that; I can just simply push it back with no worries... and I know most offices definitely don't do that. That is very comforting for me seeing as how I'm in school part time, and because of that I work part time and don't even have all my money ready yet. I'm earning it over the next 3 months hoping to be ready by Jan 7th. So I'll be making payments as the money comes along. My coordinator is Lia. I made my deposit today to secure my date.

- I'm 5'7 185lbs at the moment. At one point I lost 30lbs and was 150lbs, but still had a gut. I have 4 sisters and this gut is genetic and runs in the family, and I truly believe it's not going anywhere without serious intervention lol. If I lost anymore weight past 150lbs, I would lose my hips and boobs, which is not what I want to do. I enjoy eating and being curvy. And it seems I cannot achieve a flat stomach through diet/exercise without becoming skinny everywhere else. I watched my sister go through this, she is now very skinny, and yet her gut is still there smh. So she is resorting to coolsculpting. I want to lose as much weight as possible before the procedure. Doctors say the closer you are to your ideal weight before surgery, the better. I hope to get down to 165lbs. The less drastic my surgery is, the smoother the recovery.

MIAMI RECOVERY HOMES
- can anyone recommend some good recovery homes?
- does anyone know of any recovery homes that are less than $800 for a 4-5 day stay?
- If you are having surgery in Miami around Jan 7th, let me know. I heard you can get a big discount off of your recovery home stay if you have a buddy. Before pictures coming soon.
