Back in the gym

I've finally hit that point that I have to work out . This is very interesting . My mid section is still numb which might be a good thing. My stomach swells from time to time which I think is normal . I wear some type of compression garment throughout the day and wear a waist belt when I work out. I'm still not confident in working my chest to much , which is not good because I need to get my push up numbers back up . I still feel like I have a couple of lingering stitches . I have one small spot that feels as if there is something there. Last but not least my boobs itch like crazy!!!! I have caught myself digging and scratching in public . Not that I care but it's a little weird. My scar tissue is raise quite a bit in between my breast but my scar from my lift looks great . Breast are still lopsided . I think this is the way they are going to stay, so I'm not happy about that . I went to Vicky and they fitted me as a 34DD. Interesting ... Cause I sure don't feel like it

Aches and pains

Well it's been six weeks. For some reason I've recently started to have some sharpe pains every once in a while around my lower breast area. I'm thinking its scar tissue . Guess we'll see. My boobs have finally settled . They look ok. My left is s little more boxier than I would prefer , but hopefully that settles as they do with more time. Tummy is looking good. Numbness is fading slowly. Going to start trying so ab workouts. Just brought a weighted hula hoop. Belly button is looking great!!! Can't wait to try it . I'll keep ya posted .

Looking better

It's been six weeks Friday. I really think I'm almost ready to start working out. I had a little discomfort last week. Felt like I had a cramp in my abs.i think it's feel the nerves starting to recover. Some of the numbness is starting to go away. I do think that I have some stitches that either didn't dissolve or are still in. I can feel them .

Dr Ortega is a well seasoned and knowledgeable surgeon. It was comforting to walk in the office and seeing the long lit of patients waiting for him. He was very upfront and keep it real when it came to the final expectations. He reiterated what my wants versus needs several times, redirecting me to realist results. He had no problem telling me "NO", which I totally respect. It made me feel that he was not looking to make money, but looking to giving me the best results. Also he was very flexible with my out of town traveling. I had a flight delay and they still fit me in for my follow up appointments. I'll definitely be back.
