Hello there, I just had a rhinoplasty and otoplasty done four weeks ago but my nose seems to be slightly slanted to the left side as it used to be before the surgery.

The main reason why i got the surgery is because of my assymetrical face. Everything on my face seems to be slightly slanted to the left, my lips, my teeth, my chin, and my ears. Well my ears used to be assymetrical as well, not anymore.

My question is.. will the nose look straighter after the swollenness takes off? or is it rather impossible to have a straight nose due to the slight assymetry i have on my face? My profile looks just perfect but i can still notice the tip being slightly slanted to the left!:(

Question: Crooked nose after Rhinoplasty. Answer: I agree, your profile appears excellent. However, I do not see your front view. If the tip of your nose is still slightly slanted, this may be due to several factors including postoperative surgical swelling of the soft tissues, asymmetry of the tip cartilages, deviated caudal (end) of the nasal septum. In general, four weeks is a little too early for critical scrutiny. In three to six months time, you and your surgeon would have a better understanding of the nature of the contour of your nose. Interestingly, there are subtle changes that take place in the contour of the nose for a number of years (especially in the nasal tip region). If slight deviations persist or increased, they are usually easily correctable.
