40 Yr Old "Hour Glass" Run Over. 38N!!!!!!!! Considering....no GETTING a BR - Detroit, MI

SOooooooo... I am one week Post op!!!

I had my pre-op today, it was quick and to the point. My PCP actually did the PreOp in her office. She did all the blood work and and EKG and a 2d Echo. She contacted my PS and arranged to send over a medical clearance. NONE of that would be done had it not for the PCP. I was able to get a list of questions answered by the PS office at PreOp and I paid my bill. I am ready to go in 14 days. YAY me :)

Today I had my 3rd (in person) consultation. It went very well. It was the only woman of the 3. She is a well known and respected board certified surgeon. The office was very technologically advanced. From the receptionist to the biller, every person utilized advanced technology to inform and prepare me for the appointment. I was quickly signed up for a online access to my entire appointment notes (including measurements and doctor's notes). I was given access to a video gallery and touch screen "before and afters". I met first with the PA who discussed the PS background, methods etc. She informed me that the doctor has not done an FNG in several years, and no drains. After the doctor came in to exam me, I was pretty much sold. I like the idea of going to a outpatient facility and its actually in the building that my PCP is in. I was able to pick a date I like and scheduled the pre-op dates :) And best of all it's covered by insurance! Choices....choices....choices.
