I had mesotherapy treatments last year and now I’m saving up to go back again. I’ve been through a few procedures – TT, lipo, fillers – and this was the one I was happiest with. It’s not permanent but that’s the only negative.
I went for six sessions before I had to stop (life got in the way and the money ran out). I was getting treatment on my stomach where I had botched lipo six years ago and also on the hard to work off areas of my upper/inner thighs. Each treatment didn’t hurt but I have heard some people say it hurts. I don’t think I have an especially high pain tolerance, just that my doctor was very gentle and did it conservatively. I could feel it, pin pricks, but manageable. I never needed pain tablets or anything, just rest when it was over and not much of that. I could go about life as normal, which was nice.
When I stopped I think I had lost an inch or two on my thighs and not much on my stomach but the big difference was how much smoother my skin got. I had some cellulite and the treatments worked beautifully here. Even if I hadn’t lost weight I would be pleased with meso as a skin treatment.
Next for me is saving up for more meso and looking into getting a proper revision from my TT/lipo. It never was right. Mesotherapy might make it look better but I want to find the right surgeon this time and be evaluated for a revision.
If I have to save for one or the other I will choose mesotherapy. That’s how much I love it.
