“Liposuction After 2 Children - Memphis, TN”
Spent: $4,400 in Memphis, TN
Even at my thinnest of 121 lbs, I always had the same shape abdomen and pockets of fat and was unhappy with my midsection. Now at 155 lbs (and days of the 120's being gone in my 20's!), I have the same basic shape...just larger. I've always wanted liposuction, and since I'm going in for a breast implant revision anyway because of a rupture, I've decided to go ahead and add the lipo to get rid of that unwanted fat.
Two plastic surgeons I visited agreed that I do not necessarily need a tummy tuck, even after 2 kids. I chose the 2nd surgeon visited, since the first was not interested in my business.
I am mostly concerned with some of the side effects of liposuction...the dimpling, uneveness, etc that can occur. Also scared of all that pain! Here's hoping to a great result!
My before surgery measurements:
Waist - 33
Pooch - 37 1/2
Updated on 10 Sep 2011:
Day after surgery and I feel great! A little soreness in my abdomen, but nothing the pain killers can't handle. I am adding pics. A good result so far considering it's only the day after and will only get better!!! Haven't taken measurements as I forgot before I put binder on. Will update again next week.
Updated on 14 Sep 2011:
Nothing new to report other than I am still swollen, and do not look much different than the initial photos. My only different in measurement so far is one inch less around the "pooch". Hopefully I will have more to report in the next month.
Updated on 10 Nov 2011:
I am still waiting for "final" results, and I hope things improve from here. I have only lost inches on my pooch, and no where else.
