Day 8..

Well the pain has subsided. Thank God! I just pretty much have muscle spasms from time to time do to the fact that I went under the muscle. But my friend Mr. Flexeril deals with that. In the morning I'll take a Tylenol and the muscle relaxer at night. Since Dr. Quigley has shown me how to massage my breast it has been the best thing ever. It has definitely helped with the pain. Massaging not only helps with pain but it also helps to move the implants into place. I no longer need the ice packs either. I still have swelling, of course, so I'm not sure of my exact size. My Fruit of the Loom sports bras do not go by cup size so I'm still unsure. All in all my downtime has been about 8 or 9 days. I'm very happy with the results. Dr. Quigley did an outstanding job.

1 week post op. They are still settling into place.

1st follow up appt

Dr says I'm healing well. Stitches were taken out and now it's time to massaging these bad boys. It looks like I'm going to be a small D which fits my body type.
I hate that the anesthesia and meds make you so bloated!! And the meds have made me have some seriously weird dreams!! The ice packs have been a God send. I'm getting around the house fine by myself but it still takes me a while to shower. Will post pics soon.

Dr. Quigley called me the night of my surgery to check on me. Surgery started on time. The nurses and staff at the front desk were wonderful. Once you are on the hospital bed they put a balloon blanket on you it fills up with warm air to keep you toasty. I loved that. The fees were fine very reasonable. After I paid $3100 in surgeon fees at my consultation ,I paid for anesthesia and facility fees, $1834 upon arrival. Leading up to my surgery date if I had a question, I would just call the office and if I left a message a nurse would call me right back.
