Great Surgeon for Facial Repairs - Melville, NY

I was recommended to Dr S by my dermatologist, I had a MOHs surgery on my nose and cheek area directly under my right eye. He was professional and comforting when I needed to go to his surgical office at the last minute. His staff as well as the Dr were very detailed and concerned that I understood what the surgery was and how I would feel after. The follow up in his office was with in the week, he inspected the area and wanted to keep the stitches in a few more days he wanted it to heal properly. After the stitches were removed he explained how the scar would heal better and deeper with a product called scar guard. I had many other skin surgery's and the scar guard, although a little expensive, was WELL WORTH it. I used it as instructed and it sped up the process of the healing and minimizing the scar. I highly recommend Dr. David Schlessinger for any facial surgery .
