As far as Dr. Oppenheimer, his bedside manner is excellent. He will make you feel so at ease, safe and in good hands. But I was a little disappointed with what he said he would do and what he actually did.

The nurse Christina, was nice but when she removed the drains I had to have, it startled me and made me jump causing some of my body fluid to get all over the floor and her. I think she made a Freudian slip and said now it spilled all over "thank you" (for jumping and making a mess) and she had to clean up after me. I think she was upset I messed up her designer scrubs. Plus clean the floor. I couldn't believe my ears, but I just ignored it. I think she realized what she said too and was nice as pie after that.

As far as Dr. Oppenheimer, his bedside manner is excellent. He will make you feel so at ease, safe and in good hands and I'm sure I was. But I was a little disappointed with what he said he would do and what he actually did. He told me on my PRE-op consultation that he would do lipo suction under my arms, so I would not have a big roll of fat under there. He said it was "included in his procedure." "For free." THEN on the day of the surgery he told me my insurance wouldn't cover lipo suction so he wasn't going to do it. I thought if it was "included in his procedure" and it was for "free" then why would insurance be an issue? Now I have these rolls of fat under my arms that look unsightly if I wear a form fitting shirt. I look like I have a boob that runs around to my sides. Very depressing. Either he just told me what I wanted to hear or he forgot what he said to me in the first place. As far as recommending him....I'm not so sure I will.
