Day 2 Post Op

So here are my pictures. I'm allergic to adhesive tape so surgical glue was used instead. I have some gauze stuck to a few incision spots that I'm scared to mess with. Has this happened to anyone else?

Finally took the dressings off

This morning I finally took the dressings off so I could see my new breasts. It was very overwhelming and I started to feel a bit woozy. I've seen so many post-op pictures but it was still surprising to see how much my breasts have changed and all of the surgical scars. I am very happy that they are not too big. My biggest fear was coming out of this surgery to find out that I was still a DD. My breasts are definitely still very firm and swollen. My nipples don't look asymmetrical but my left breast is more swollen than my right so I'm hoping everything will settle and even out.

I put on a shirt this morning and it was so weird! It's going to take awhile to get used to my new body shape. I feel so much more proportionate! But right now my boobs are so firm that they kinda look like implants...yikes! :)

Anyways, the pain is pretty much nonexistent. I take Tylenol a few times a day. I'm able to sleep on my side and get around just fine. Today I went shopping with hubby, but I think I overdid it a bit because I started to feel a bit dizzy. I feel pretty good so I need to remind myself that I just had major surgery and that I need to take it easy. I've always been pretty active, and went to the gym 5 days a week for strength, cardio and barre classes so I'm not used to sitting around and I'm BORED! I'm also paranoid that I will gain weight since I can't do much, so I started tracking all of my food on myfitnesspal and I am eager to start walking when I'm feeling up to it.
