Hi, My name is Tanya I am 35 years old and I am FINALLY doing this! I have never had any kids and don't plan on it. I am much more career orientated.

For as long as I can remember I have wanted to do this for myself. I have always had the belly pouch, big butt and small boobs. I was born with a condition called hypopituitarism, which basically means that my body dosent make enough female hormones to allow me to have children or have any type of metabolism. Since I was 13 I have been a cereal dieter. I have tried EVERYTHING, the strictest crazy fad diets to 3 hours a day at a gym and NOTHING gave me the results I wanted. I plan on getting a full TT, Breast implants and lipo in various areas.

I have had Lipo on my chin and declotage and it wasnt bad at all. (I know that what I am planning will be MUCH worse).

My consultation is December 9th, and I will post my surgery date as soon as I can!

I am so extremely I found this website so far ahead of my surgery time, and really look forward to this life changing event!!

I will post more "Risque" photos later on.

Any advice you can offer will be greatly appreciated!

So, I just got home from my consult and I scheduled my surgery for March 28th 2012 and Im sooo excited!! im going with the silicone gel "Gummy bear" inplants (full D) , a full tummy tuck, and lipo on the hips, inner thighs , mons pubis and arms! THE WHOLE DEAL!! I cant wait! The hardest part right now is Quiting smoking and loosing as much weight as possible (2 weeks before Chrismas EEEEKKKK)!!

She said the more weight I lose before surgery the better results, so Im going to try my best!

Im still just trying to make this all real in my head! I have soooo many questions, yet I cant think of any at the moment, any advice that anyone will be willing to offer will be much appreciated!

So, for the past couple days my mom is making me feel bad about doing this, saying that im going to be in the worst pain of my life and that its going to kill her to see me in such pain, and she really is kinda freaking me out. (she is still healing from her abdominal lipo and breast implant replacement that she had 4 months ago). She remembers how miserable I was when I had to have emergency surgery for a kidney stone and is trying to tell me the pain is worse than that, and I cant believe that (she has never had a kidney stone). Yes I know its surgery, and yes I know I will be in pain, but for some reason, I think that its basically just surgery on skin and not internal organs that it wont be that horrid. Can anyone out there do a little pain comparisons for me please? I would really appreciate it! bye bye 4 now! T

Its becoming more and more real everyday. I keep catching myself staring at myself a lot longer after a shower, squishing in my stomach to envision what I will look like once its gone and I am definitely super excited about my surgery, but also extremely nervous about recovery. I'm shopping for a recliner right now, and I an also looking for a private nurse to hire for a couple weeks to help take care of me. I just don't want to be a burden on my mother or my roommate, and I want to make sure I have all the help I need, without driving friends and family crazy.

Surgery is in about 65 days and I know I have to stop smoking at least 6 weeks before so I am taking baby steps, I have smoked for so long, but I know how important quitting is for so many other reasons besides surgery so I went down to Ultra lights and smoke about half as much as before, next week I plan on going down to a quarter of what I used to smoke, It just is soooo hard because I also would like to loose more weight before surgery and quitting smoking and losing weight are hard enough to do one at a time but doing them together seems virtually impossible. If any one has any tips , I would love to hear them!

Ok so i switched to "American Spirit" ciggarettes and they are supposed to be all natural, and I have only been smoking 5 to 6 a day.. HUGE because up until a week ago I have smoked a pack a day for the past 20 years! I am feeling pretty confident that i actually can quit!

Im working on collecting all the things I need to make recovery as easy as possible. Im so excited!!

OMG!! So my PS had a cancelation and called me today, and moved my surgery up to Feb 15 instead of March 28th!!! OMG I CANT BELIVE IT!! 1 week from today!! SO MUCH TO DO!!!! Getting my b4 pics tomorrow!!!

Updated on 9 Feb 2012:
I got my before pictures taken today... Still pretty scared to post them they'll probably get put up once I have after pictures! I talked my mother today and she calmed my nerves because she does went through all of this a few months ago minus the tummy tuck.

Wow ... this really is happening ...pretty sure I have everything I need.. I've read what to do before a tummy tuck and all of the other lists out there but if there are any items that you wish you had before your surgery or during your healing process please let me know what they are I am willing to get pretty much anything to make this an easier process for me! talk to you all soon

XO XO

Hypopituitarism can be very hard to deal with. Good for you for trying so hard to shape your body on your own. I hope this gives you exactly what you want and hope for. Please do keep us posted!

Tanya, what an exciting time for you. To be totally clear, you don't have to be a mommy to have the coined "mommy makeover". Sounds like it's exactly what you've been working towards. I'm looking forward to seeing your progress. Congrats to you!

Okay, for sure quit smoking. Check out this article one of our RealSelf doctors wrote about your nipples falling off if you don't quit smoking. I hope this is motivation for you. :) The holidays will be difficult, but you've set your goal and you're making it happen. Hang in there girl!

Tad,

I had a full hysterectomy in May, and I was up and moving the same day! I thought the same thing, the removal of all my female baby makers would be nothing compared to skin removal, WRONG!

I had a full tt and breast aug December 8th and it was extremely painful. I think the main reason, because my entire body was affected (arms were useless).

I am 4 days out today, and it is not near as bad. I am able to get up and down by myself, change my dressings, empty my drains if I want to.... It just takes time, and STAY ON SCHEDULE with meds! I can tell when they are wearing off, and the pain is NOT GOOD!

I keep telling myself "NO PAIN,NO GAIN". It will be worth it in the end, but the first few days, in my opinion, were hell!

You will make it through it, and you will love the results! Just remember, whats a few days of hell for a body that you love!

Feel free to message me if you have any questions. :-)

Thank you so much! How are you feeling now?

Maybe you could post a pic of what you want to look like somewhere you will see it for motivation. (whole body, boobs, etc)Keep reminding yourself of why you have put away the smokes and why you are sweating your bum off. Good luck!

Hey Tad, I was just starting a post in the forum for tips to quit smoking...I'll add the link once it's populated. While I was in the forums, I saw a group starting for non-mommy's who are getting mommy makeovers. Here's the link.

I smoked off and on for 20yrs myself and I know how hard it is to quit. (that's why it was off and ON)LOLOL. I have never heard of the all natural smokes but you are trying so good for you! You will be off those suckers before you know it!
s.perez 28 Jan 2012
i've smoked for many years and it sucks everytime you have to quit. i myself had quit 6xs and it is hard. After you eat you wanna smoke, after sex you wanna smoke, you are in the car and you smoke, you are bored and wanna smoke, you drink and smoke(goes hand in hand). Some ppl do the hard candy trick and i tried that as well. Ended up i ate alot of candy(not good); it's an oral fixation (the hand motion to the mouth). so over the 6xs ive quit an started and quit i found some helpful tips to stay quit. 1. after you eat and you start to get that "sweet" craving go for a walk (brisk) it does help. 2. After you have sex and you get that "sweet" craving again pic up a book and a bottle of water, drink(water) and read and repeat. 3. When you are in the car and craving that "sweet" cig make sure you packed some on the go snacks( carrots, celery, broccoli cuts, grapes, strawberries, bananas) healthy snacks; obviously dont eat all that in one setting. 4. if you drink stay in an enviroment that doesnt allow smoking(which nowadays thats everywhere) but if you cant then i recommened do not drink. 5. when you get bored and jst want to light up instead of eating, grab some ice cold water drink that and work out. lift some weights and do lots of cardio (brisk walk, jogging, jump rope, swimming, cycling, etc). once you do the cardio your lungs will burn and youll cough alot BUT your nothing thinking nor wanting that cig. it takes one month to get into a routine but you will crave that cig for a good 6months but the "sweet" craving dies dow each month (not as intense).. Ive always seemed to quit for a yr and start up again, the reason for starting up each time is because i would go around ppl who smoked and it was always in my face(ppl is family)and i got the urge to do it again and again. this last time its been alot better. But ive always replaced smoking with a better habit. I still have the urge every once in awhile but not as intense as before. I stay away from alcohol cuz I know im going to want a cig. i definalty do not want to start up again. needless to say its been almost 2yrs since ive quit this time around. I work out and drink lots of water i do still snack on junk food every now and then(got to sometimes)plus i need to stay quit cuz i got to have my MM also. Well anyways, i Hope that this helped you out with your smoking, let me know how things go. good luck and you can do it!!

Just re-read what i wrote and sorry for the incorrect grammer. I've been getting distracted in writing this by my children.

TAd- I smoked 27 years I am on day 23 of not smoking, mainly because of the surgery I think that was the only thing that was going to make me quit! American spirit still has nicotine, you need to get that all out of your system 3 weeks prior I got the ecig with zero nicotine vapor, make sure it is zero nicotine, and I did chantix for 2 weeks, and now I cannot believe how much better I feel, it was nuts, going to the gym and lighting up in my car, my workouts have improved, I swear my face looks better, it is tough but think of how bad you want this! I would promise my son all the time I would quit, how I could look at my dear child and not do it, it makes me so depressed, I would quit and day 3 start up, really like it is uncomfortable when you get the urge but it passes quickly! My PS did my arms last year, and he knew I smoked, he refused to do this if I was still smoking, you want the best result possible, dont assume you will be OK, lay down the cigs and get ready for the new you, you can do it!!!!
khgfdsdrfegrthjklkjhgfd 9 Feb 2012
ick I did Chantix last year and to say the least, my roommate would have traded me with the exorcist if she could have ;-).
Also I have been using the zero nicotine vapor but today my plastic surgeon looked at the ingredients on those and the very last ingredient is nicotine even on the 0% cartridges I could not believe it!!
the urges are horrible I have a 40 mile commute to work and yes the 40 mile commute home ,not smoking during that is one of the hardest parts.
I guess it's good that I only have five days left because ever since I booked this surgery I've been worrying about how to quit smoking, I'm going to have a live-in nurse for one or two weeks so I know I won't be able to smoke after surgery but the next five days are going to be the longest of my life! thank you so much for your advice, when is your surgery?
How did you heal when you had your arms done, any problems?
