My face & eyes were done, my face is now crooked (he didn't even lypo but one side of my neck so the other side is very off, my ears are scarred & one lobe was sown to my face (everyone notices), my eyes are permanently scarred from the cheap sutures they used that gave me an allergic reaction so I have to live with scarred eyes forever now. My face will always be mangled for the rest of my life because of them. Oh, and the pain-excruciating!!! Dr Dun Kim totally sucks at what he does (I mean Dumb Kim). He is such a freaking fraud. People beware!!! He doesn't care about a good job, just getting that big fat paycheck.

Can they repair the ear that was sewn down?
Chrystal Eckes (RealFriend) 16 Jan 2012
My heart goes out to you for your suffering and pain. You are one of many with the same complaints from having a Lifestyle Lift. My eyes were also done crooked and welted up and would swell every day until I had to pay to have them redone. My ears also gave me problems, constant pain. Have you tried to have your issues addressed by another plastic surgeon to see if the surgery can be repaired and how much it will cost? Did you happen to pay for this with carecredit? If you paid with carecredit, you may be able to address all of your issues with them. Just know this, you are not alone! Please feel free to contact me if I can help in any way. There are many of us that are dissatisfied with the Lifestyle Lift. I would hope that any woman or man considering having this particular surgery to also check with an independent board certified plastic surgeon. It never hurts to get a 2nd opinion on any surgery. Best, Chrystal Eckes

I had the same awful experience. I wonder if a class action suit can be done. Anyone interested, let me know. I had mine down in Florida and you can NOT file a lawsuit for Elective Surgery in that state. I literally called every lawyer in the book. All said the same thing. Even if they killed me there would be no repercussion to them. I would advise EVERYONE to check that before any procedure. P.S. I have had other surgery to try to improve the damage done by a the Life Style Lift doctor. Still looks horrible, itches constantly but I am not rich so I continue to suffer for a BAD decision.

Dear Sad,
Darlin, unfortunately they KNOW that, and that's why they're operating in such an unscrupulous fashion. Please do yourself a favor and call Gregory Jackson, Assistant Attorney General, Economic Crimes Div., Office of the Attorney General, 1300 Riverplace Blvd. Suite 405, Jacksonville, FL 32207. Contact person, Jessica Scott, 904-348-2720. There is currently (as a matter of record) an investigation on-going and now this corporate medical group has people calling in positive reviews, so make your voice HEARD!!! What they have done to so many people is indefensible. The damage of the Greater Auricular Nerve, the Horrible Scars, Asymmetrical, and complete lack of results. I don't know how even a happy person could promote this surgery with these people, given the knowledge we have now. What if something happened to them because they took that advise. I would never be able to live with myself. The non-sterile conditions, and the reality of the whole "procedure" coming to light has to be the primary focus of anyone who cares about anything.

Please take care, and have a good firewall on your computer!!!!!!!!

I was thinking about doing this in Florida, where did you go? My sister is having the procedure done in St. Louis on the 15th, I Was thinking About Waiting to see her results and then maybe even going there to have it done.
2trusting 8 Mar 2012
Run away, sullyfvan, and get a second and third opinion. They will recommend that you have this surgery, even when another alternative will serve you better. They've damnaged too many people. misspelling intentional. Then if you're messed up you know what their "happy" people say on here? "oops on you" How does that grab you?

There are soooo many other options in the year, 2012. Not an old fashioned SMAS lift like LSL does. It is not new and innovative. The only thing "new?" about it is they don't use full blown anesthesia, they fill your face full of lidocaine with big painful shots, and waste you out with narcotics, which caused me to stop breathing by the way. Cool, huh? NOT. They are continuing to perform these travesties and taking advantage of people who should never have a surgery done like this in the first place. Have THEY told you of other alternatives? An independent Board Certified Plastic Surgeon WOULD!!! Do you remember when Richard Nixon said on National TV " I am not a crook." Trust me, you do not want to play Russian Roulette with these people.

Sully1van, Please get a 2nd opinion with an independent board certified facial plastic surgeon in addition to any other research that you do. Many doctors listed here at realself offer free consults, be sure to compare apples to apples. LSL is only a lower face lift although they offer other add-ons that push the price right up there with what a regular plastic surgeon would charge. Please be careful. I would not wish what I went through on anyone. Also, the Attorney General in Florida is looking into this company. In the words of one of LSL doctors "BUYER BEWARE". Best, Chrystal Eckes.
NHaven 9 Mar 2012
I had a face lift with a board certified plastic surgeon. Not an LSL doctor. And, I ended up with the same screwed up results. I went in for a neck lift and ended up with a bad eye job. Went back for a revision and ended up feeling choked for 1 1/2 years. Jowls are back. Going in for eyelid revision with an oculoplastic surgeon to repair eye damage. It's all scary business. And much, much, much too profitable for the surgeon. It's not just LSL. Please understand. Some LSL doctors are really good. Some are really bad. Same as the independent board certified plastic surgeons.
Chrystal Eckes (RealFriend) 10 Mar 2012
NHaven, No doubt there are good and bad doctors in every profession, but many of us who received a LSL surgery is at a 52% approval rating VS an 83% approval rating with a regular facelift. I do not believe that the physician is entirely at fault here, it is the lift itself. And I understand that you were originally unhappy with your facelift but in your last update you stated "Now I can say I'm happy to have had this procedure!" So is that not true? Are you still unhappy after the revision the surgeon offered? Did he make you pay again? I was not offered any kind of revision, in fact I have a letter that states from LSL that they found nothing wrong with my lift -- go look at my pictures in my post here and see what you think. The point is for any kind of elective surgery, be informed, gather as much information as you can and get a 2nd opinion. I wish you the best, Chrystal Eckes.

Crystal have u posted a pic. of you without bandages. Would love too see the results now? I am really sorry for all of your pain. Just like too see later pics of people with complaints. Just seem too only see the right after surgery pics. I looked horrible too right after surgery. Also this surgery should onle be done by a real plastic surgeon. Did u have one do yours. I would chose wisely everyone considering this surgery!!!

Grateful you ladies came forward 8 Feb 2012

Hi, my name is Kim! Im a very goal orientated person and I have been working hard on my figure, eating right, wgt training and cardio. Im about 47 yrs old, but have a very youthful and beautiful face and thought that having the lifestyle lift for my neck (now that Im losing weight, the skin there is drooping and has wrinkles) and I'd have it made.
I called LSL in Denver and made an appt for the end of this week, excited about how awesome I would look. BUT!!! I started to read the testimonials and you wonderful ladies went thru a hell I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Thank you for changing my mind, i would rather age gracefully than go thru such a procedure fully concsious. I've had two C-Sections by compentent surgeons and yes I was awake and freaked out by what i could feel, but have virtually no scars from the c-sections. I cant imagine having any issues on my face. Thank you for your input and I am so sorry that this had to happen to anyone. Kim

Dear Grateful,
I'm so glad you found this site and have been able to make an informed decision. I only wish I had. It's not like they say in their glowing infomercials. It certainly is NOT lighting up a lot of peoples lives. We stepped into a nightmare from which there is no waking up.

To the lady @ LSL patient relations group: You're nuts if you think I'm going to waste my cell phone minutes on you! I have been in nursing since 1985 and as far as MY PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE goes, there is absolutely no way on hell I would go into a true surgical procedure without a surgical room and APPROPRIATE MEDICAL STAFF AND APPROPRIATE MEDICAL PROCEDURE BEING FOLLOWED AND PERFORMED! Just having locals for my face is not enough, not having the appropriate staff or surgery room, are you guys @ LSL kidding or are you guys on crack? No way in hell would I allow myself to undergo such an unprofessional procedure and might I add a dangerous one. LSL sounds like a chop shop and a scam - no thanks! And once again, thank you to all the ladies who stepped forward to share their stories. Kim

No self respecting true physician would, girl. Or any self respecting Medical Professional. So I would say that you hold yourself in the best company of people who will take the high road, by God, rather than succumbing to the group mentality of corporate medicine. For the love of money!
Chrystal Eckes (RealFriend) 20 Feb 2012

Grateful, you go girl. It is refreshing that someone has done the research, finding out before hand what many of us found out afterward. Not only are the LSL offices not JACHO certified, two women have died that we know of and I would love to know the true number of unhappy patients. Some posters who HAVE NO PAIN and no ill effects what-so-ever must have an angel on their shoulder. If I had found this website before my procedure, I would have certainly changed my mind and I know for a fact that I would have at least sought out a 2nd opinion. Even a doctor who works for them recently posted "BUYER BEWARE". So, anyone considering a LSL, go and get your free consult and turn around and get a 2nd opinion. At least that way you will be making an informed decision, not basing your decision on an infomercial or the word of a sales representative who is paid on commission. Best, Chrystal Eckes
Grateful you ladies came forward 20 Feb 2012
Crystal, I can't thank you enough for coming forward. LSL performs these full surgical procedures basically through some loophole and in a dentist's office setting. No JACHO, no operating room, no post op, RNs to monitor pt, GEEZ! These patients aren't going to get a tooth filled! I've both performed sutures and recieved them, but neve r under shady circle instances as this. This to me sounds dangerous!
Chrystal Eckes (RealFriend) 20 Feb 2012

Grateful, no thanks needed -- this needs to be done. People like you who post, warning what the potential outcome could be, scars, nerve damage, uneven ears sewn to heads, pixie ears, DEATH, uneven cuts, what else could you possible expect in something disguised as a "Facial Firming Procedure". The word "procedure" combined with clever marketing tactics, pricing, and women dressed in whites (like medical professionals) who earns commission on each signature that winds up on the dotted line.  Be smart people, go if you must, get the free consult but do yourself a favor and go to a private practice board certified facial plastic surgeon and get a 2nd opinion. Some are quick to point out that LSL is cheaper because they do not put you to sleep, well if you compare apples to apples with another surgeon, he can do the same thing, same type of lower face lift and he will most likely warn you that you might not want to do that under a local due to the pain that is involved. I do hope that you will continue to follow the posts and comment. Best, Chrystal Eckes

I am glad these posts are here. I had made a consultation in Atlanta,GA, but I will not be attending. it takes two hours for me to even get there and I hear the horror that has developed there,NO THANK YOU! Money is too hard to come by and when you are really wanting to improve yourself, but it going to be a financial sacrifice I think I probably can get a plastic surg in this area to do what I need for not much more than the cost that you mentioned. Plus who wants to be mangled from something that you want done to make you feel better? I'll save my gas money and put that in my fund for a plastic surgeon in my area and research them well before I do anything. thanks for enlightening me!!!
2trusting 29 Feb 2012
Good move, Chatsworth. In my opinion, it's not worth the risk, I don't care how many people say "they would do it again!" When you actually know what they're going to do to you, and see with your own 2 eyes what horrible things have happened to people who have trusted them, then and only then can you make an informed decision. Knowledge is Power. They make a HUGE EFFORT to keep what they do behind closed doors, secret, but too many people have been harmed over the years now, it can't be kept secret anymore! And they HATE IT!

Sorry you guys haven't had the same results I have. I had my LSL 2 1/2 months ago and couldn't be more pleased. I literally look 10+ yrs younger. I not only had an angel on my shoulder but I had God on my side.
