Eric Choe Cannot Do Eyelids - Manhattan, NY

I had Asian double eyelid surgery with him. The crease was made too high and caused ptosis. Judging from others' reviews he makes creases too big or too small. He flatters you so much to get you to come to him. When I raised concerns about the crease, Sharon dismissed them and made me think I was delusional. I had to get a revision in Korea a year later and all the doctors I went to told me that I had "sausage" creases and that I developed ptosis from Dr. Choe's surgery.

Sorry to hear. You really shouldn't keep getting surgeries though. Chances are, it will mess the anatomical structures up, more scarring will occur, and more asymmetry would result. It's kind of like if you keep messing with something to achieve symmetry, perfection, etc. you will make it worse and worse to where there is no hope. Can you live with your crease? Is it that bad to warrant another revision?

Hi Tiredeyes, which clinic in Korea did you go to? I narrowed my choices for a revision to either BIO or Banobagi clinic.

So did you lower the creases?

Yes I did. However I still have slight ptosis from the first surgery by Dr Choe. Honestly if you mess up your first surgery, even if you get revision, it still won look very natural and asymmetry is more likely

Not to mention the deeper more dense scarring inside and out. Do your first surgery correctly by not going to Dr Choe.

I had my first surgery last year and the doctor F it up. Now my crease is asymmetrical and low as my original. I want to get a revision. But I am afraid IG might get messed up more. Sigh

I learned this the hard way: better is the enemy of good. Anyway raising creases are much easier than lowering a fold
