I have suffered from keloids on my chest and back for over a decade and had every treatment possible for this condition. Lots of years of painful poking and prodding, with little or no positive outcome. I had the procedure in April of 2012 with Dr. Z Paul Lorenc in New York. He was very pleasant, as I spent a number of hours getting numerous scars treated. The CryoShape procedure was painless and I recovered over a 48 hour period. Mind you, this was on over 20 scars. After all the years of failed treatments, I can confidentally say this procedure is by far the most effective at treating keloid scars. It has been 9 months since the procedure and I have had no recurrence. The scars that I thougt I'd never be rid of are flatter and much lighter and the itch and pain is non-existent. I want to thank Dr. Lorenc for performing this procedure and helping me get my life back.

Dr. Lorenc was the only Physician performing this procedure at the time. He has a great reputation and was very kind and understanding about my condition. Professionalism when handling this condition is a must, in my opinion.
