My name is Frank & I had my 1st IPL treatment when I was about 67. My skin didn't have
any sparkle lol & I read about IPL & sought out dermatologists in NYC. Just a web search.
I came across Dr Lisa Zdniak had a consult & she suggested IPL right away. I liked her
felt comfortable with her & so had one that day. I was apprehensive but the only thing
I disliked about the treatment (and still do) is that gooey cold cream that hits your face
beforehand. A few areas "hurt" like around the nose etc but in general its really nothing.
(I suppose we all differ on the discomfort scale) .... At any rate I want you to know that
what I am about to write is NOT HYPE ...... I noticed a REAL MAJOR difference in my
skin after say 3 or 4 IPLs .... about 5-6 months after my first one.
example: I was in a
swanky french restaurant with friends & a woman, at an adjoining banquette, asked: How is your skin so great looking? I almost dropped my martini. That never happened
before. EVER. So I would say that if its within your budget or means check it out.

I'm so sorry to hear that having an IPL caused you to drop your martini & waste precious alcohol. ;) That is great that people are commenting on your skin without any prompting!!
I would love to hear what specific changes you have seen in your skin (ie smoother, decrease in age spots, firmer, etc.)
