I've been wanting to have my nose done since being in high school as I was name called 'big nose' a lot. It has made me self conscious ever since! Don't really like going to public places because I think people are looking at my nose. My op is 27th April I'm so scared but can't wait to feel nice about myself for the first time. I'm having open rhinoplasty to have the hump shaved down and getting the tip slightly smaller.
Good luck. The first two days were hard but after that its easy.there will still be swelling etc but you will be back to your normal life within three weeks.

You are gorgeous!!!! Not much to improve there! You are lucky that you already have a pretty front view... I truly don't think it looks too big at all from that angle. But I know how it is to hate having a bump, so I hope this procedure gives you the result you want! Can't wait to see your afters.... good luck tomorrow!

Hello! I had my nose done 2 weeks ago by Mr Tahery!! Transform clinic? Your situation sounds exactly the same as mine, with school and the op you're having and the surgeon! how weird! anyway tips : 1) Really really really good lip moisturiser (i used elizabeth arden 8hr cream) you get really bad dry lips trust me you need to keep applying non stop 2) Straws 3) Pineapple juice- i didn't get black eyes and i think this was due to pineapple juice AND- 4)sleeping propped up with 5 pillows - its annoying because i am used to sleeping on my side but i do think it made a difference 5) lots of ice wrapped in tea towls- i used it on my eyes, temples, forehead, chin basically all over my face i just felt like it might make the swelling better, and it did i think, nurse said i had minimal swelling All in all, the first week you have a cast on your face and you feel dreadful and i basically lay in bed drinking pineapple juice not speaking for 4 days. Oh you will probably have very very bloody nostrils- i tried to not touch these for a while as i was paranoid about infecting the stitches, gently clean with the saline spray you get - you wont be able to breathe through nose for a while, i've only just started breathing normally two weeks later - After you get the cast off expect swelling- it will still be a fab result because of the hump removal but the tip will be swollen and bulbous- i didn't like mine 5 days ago but i can already see the difference! Good luck mate x

Finally had my op after the dreaded wait for 3 hours in hospital. Which dragged and got me even more nervous! I'm not in much pain at all just a dull ache also have no packing so can breath through my nose but been advised not to. It isn't half as bad as I thought it would have been so glad I had it done and can see a change already with the cast on... EXCITED for Friday when I have my cast off.

Been 3 days since my op my son fell and caught...

Been 3 days since my op my son fell and caught himself by grabbing my face, yes as you can believe it did hurt brought years to my eyes. So any of you that have children stay well clear from them once you've had your op! I'm not in any pain just feels like I have a lot of pressure on my nose under the cast which isn't very comfortable.
I think your new is going to be beautiful! I understand what you meen by staying clear of kids. My son and I co-sleep and periodically threw the night he would roll over and flop his arm onto my nose. It hurt so bad. For some reason I also hit hitting myself in the face accidentally lol

Day 5 post op - I had a very restless sleep last...

Day 5 post op - I had a very restless sleep last night couldn't get comfy as I've been sleeping on 5 pillows to keep my head up and swelling down :) have no bruises hardly as I was advised to buy arnica tablet form its a herb to help keep bruising minimal suppose just depends on the person. It's helped a lot for me so definitely would recommend it!! I'm so so nervous about getting my cast off tomorrow, I'm worried if its gonna hurt. Does it hurt when the stitches are removed?? Il post pictures of my new nose tomorrow :D hope your all well! :)
Haha that is funny! Suppose it wouldn't be so funny after your op tho lol!

Had my cast off today which I kind of took off...

Had my cast off today which I kind of took off myself whilst in the shower, was too afraid if they hurt my nose!! So i stood uder the shower waiting for it to go soggy and pulled at it very slowly. Having the stitches out has to be the most pain I've felt through out the whole procedure brought tears to my eyes :( I'm not very pleased with how my nose looks ATM I think it looks too long and fat at the tip, obviously it's still swollen just hope it goes down ALOT!!

....

....
You're such a pretty girl and your new profile looks great, very natural! The front is obviously swollen, but its pretty obvious from the overall shape its going to look amazing when the swelling goes down! Now its the hardest and most frustrating part, waiting for the swelling to go down!!

It's been nearly a month now since I've had my op and I'm so glad I've had it done!!! The bridge is still slightly tender to touch and I have dry skin still which isn't very nice. I miss blowing my nose only another 2 weeks until I can.. Yayyy! Ahhaha.
